Probably one of the best auto repair shops I have been to, they were very reliable, had great communication, didn't do extra work, but confirmed the work required after the diagnosis. Their head mechanic went over the invoice with us on top of the service underwriter. They even had a courtesy vehicle for me to use while mine was stuck in the shop for the day.

This is the best car and truck wash in Kamloops. Great water pressure and clean stalls. Very helpful staff. Lots of cleaning products as well.

A couple years ago I stopped by Lou's to get a cost estimate to repair some minor paint damage to the rear of my car caused after backing into a steel cable. Other estimates I received were in the $2000 to $3000 range. Lou's thought the damage could mostly be "polished out" and immediately went ahead and tried that. Sure enough, that worked very well and I was more than satisfied with how it looked. It impressed me that they would find a way to repair the damage at a lower cost...right away.

This is a great shop that uses common sense to troubleshoot auto electrical issues. Reasonable rates for some solid service to boot! They saved me money that I couldn't afford at the time as well. They truly went above and beyond in repairing my Impala ABS and Trac Off warning light issue, a trait hard to find with the bigger repair shops these days. Thanks to the guys at Maxwell auto.. we had a problem with our car while camping in the area and had it towed to MotorMania on a weekend. I called Monday morning to let them know the car was there, Keith in Service was extremely helpful and called me back later that day to say it was fixed. They found a simple problem and it didn't require any parts. there is a positive attitude in that shop and they even told us where to try fishing while we were in town. Excellent service I'd recommend them to anyone looking for service or parts
