Excellent food. This is one of the best Thai food I have tried. I asked for spicy in Thai style and it was hot! Love it! Chicken with cashew is the best with lots of veggies. Chicken stir-fry with sweet basil is very tasty. Spring rolls were crisp and fresh. Chicken satay is something to have if you don't like spicy. Love green papaya salad. I ordered medium, was a bit more spicy than I thought, but love it! Basil spicy noodle is yummy. I love the thick kind of noodles and they did well. Delivery service was very friendly. The menu is small, however it offers something for everyone. We tried their signature dish "Oyster po' boy" ($15). It is served with a roasted tomato soup drizzled with rich basil oil. My wife and I used to love strolling the city and ending up at the Irish Heather for a pint (or three) and some fantastic authentic pub fare. This was in their original location. Then, we had a family and it took us a while to get back but we finally got back to check out their new digs and new menu. While the beer selection is still fantastic we were disappointed in the overall vibe. The food was still good but the value took a bit of a hit from their original location. We ate at Rosie's on Robson while on vacation in Vancouver. We stayed at the Westin a few blocks up the street the location seemed convenient. Rosie's markets itself as a British pub style eatery with a good selection of draught beer. When we got seated at our table, the temperature was very warm. The staff claimed the air conditioning at the maximum level but we found that hard to believe. The decor also appeared to be quite outdated. When our food arrived, the veggie burger was found to be slightly under-cooked. The spring rolls were very good but the portion size was small (2 rolls cut into halves). My bruschetta was very good and the portion was decently sized. Although the restaurant was not terrible, I would not recommend it due to the quality of the food and the atmosphere. Lire plus

I visited West with a friend that had been there a couple of times before. The outside of the restaurant was very unassuming. You would have no idea that there was a fantastic restaurant inside. Parking may be an issue as it's a busy streetfront but they did seem to have valet. We sat at the bar and had cesars until our table was ready--made fresh with muddled tomato right in front of our eyes. The food was all amazing both in appearance and taste. REALLY good. The food was excellent and the service was outstanding. They had a great selection of 4 starters and a selection of 4 entrees. We had the " best of both worlds" - an awesome combo of seafood, chicken and steak. The tiger prawns were huge and grilled to perfection. Definitely above average cuisine, my only issues are that the prices are a little high for the quality, even though the food is great. The service was also very lacking, there were several Indian families having dinner that night and the servers were clearly more concerned with them.
