My husband and I decided to try MK Sushi and were very pleasantly surprised. We have tried every sushi restaurant in Mission and I have to say the food here was excellent. I had the playboy roll and my husband had the spicy tuna roll. You could tell everything was made fresh not pre made. Also the service from the young man that worked there was great. I was skeptical at first because they ranked so high in reviews and this place was located in Delta/Surrey but I must say I was really impressed. I think Ive been to all the Japanese restaurants along the Westcoast and Akari is absolutely top notch. Their black rice specialty rolls and tempura were especially memorable. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. It's a small mom and pops restaurant...with really a little something for everyone. The food came out quick and the portions are huge! To start, this was the only Sushi place I was able to find that delivers in my area and they were quick with my order. The overall quality of their avocado and spicy salmon rolls are better than most other places. The delivery was fast and they were within 5 - 10 minutes but promised a 30 minute maximum wait. The price is reasonable, and charge 3.99 for each spicy salmon roll. I will probably only order from them from now on, thanks! Lire plus

I didn't get my apple turnover, that I ordered and paid for The staff were all standing at the front, in a huddle, talking. The young lady that took my order asked if I'd like my root beer in a mug, while I waited for my order. Which would be about 12-15 minutes, then she would put it in a cup to go and refill it. I recently visited this (new?) location with my friends and much to my joy the service was cool and attractive and the server was attentive... In other words, very good!! The food was good to above average and well cooked! tasty Chicken, and I special ordered melting cheese. Being a fan of inventive food, I will probably return to this location just for that but would definitely take a drive here also to satisfy my appetite for eye candy.
