This restaurant has all the key elements to good dining! I go here almost every week because we appreciate the service and the quality of the food. Even the chef is willing to lend a hand at serving the food at peak times. My favorite would be Malaysian menu! Excellent dish to have for lunch coupled with a chicken-corn soup to start. Like many places in Harrison, Kitami suffers from staffing problems, and so the owner often works the entire room by herself, with a bit of help from kitchen staff who come out when she is overwhelmed. If you can take a chance on timing, though, it is well worth the wait. Their sushi is excellent, both in quality and variety. The cooked foods are also very good. We love the sweet potato tempura. One of my favourite Japanese restaurants in Langley, both their sushi and hot food is great. I've never received less than outstanding service, and it offers reasonable value for the money.
