I found Jon online after trying several other mechanics in the aurora area. He's a great guy, explains complex problems in a way that I can understand as I know nothing about cars. He is always honest and upfront. Doesn't hesitate to spare you unnecessary costs. I cant recommend him enough to anyone in the aurora area looking for a trustworthy mechanic

John and his team at Auto Techniques has worked on most of my family's cars, and the service is always top notch.
My mother had taken her car to the dealership and was told it had a bad transmission leak and oil everywhere, and was quoted over $1500 for repairs ... I had her take it to Auto Techniques and there was no leak, nor oil all over the place. John replaced one line that looked a little questionable - for under $200, and 3 years later, the transmission is still fine.

I have never seen such an honest mechanic I had a problem with my car it was not starting the mechanic came and inspected my car and the only problem was that my starter wire was disconnected and he just plugged it back in he didn't try to make any profit from me keep up the good work guys

phone my regular mechanic who i have spent a lot of money with, i had a low tire, he could fit me in that day and i had to go to work the next day so i asked about the next morning and he said when next week. i am a senior, i expected more from him. anyways i went true Automotive. i also need a smoke test and my mechanic wanted to charge me 120.00 but True auto only charges 60.00, so i will be going there from now on.

Got an alignment done on my 86 c10 which is pretty primitive and out of date compared to the steering systems on today’s cars. I often have a hard time finding mechanics that will even touch my truck because of the age and complete lack of computers. But they were still able to order all the parts and do a great alignment. Thanks again guys!
