To start, the decor of the entire restaurant is very relaxing and welcoming. Was greeted verbally and with a friendly smile as soon as I had entered, and was not kept waiting for service. The sushi I ordered wasn't anything fancy (was one California roll and a Dragon roll) but both were made swiftly, didn't cost much money and in the end looked and tasted amazing. Surrey has its share of Japanese restaurants, but this little cafe in the heart of Newton is one of the finest out there. They say once you have their sushi you will remember their name - it's true! Their tempura is the best I've ever had, and their sushi is always fresh and full of flavor. The only problem they have is location, the restaurant is too small for the volume of people and the parking in the area is terrible. Regardless of that, they are the greatest, so try them today! My family and I have been going to Jim's for over 12yrs now. There are a few other pizza places in the area we like, but Jim's is always the most generous with the cheese and toppings. We really like the dough and sauce they use, for us it is just the perfect combo. This site does not give the option to give half stars, so I gave 5 just because we are long time customers, but I would have given 4.5 because if you order for delivery on a Friday or Saturday night you can expect to have a bit of a wait.
