A VERY long wait to fill prescriptions ALL the time. Best to call ahead a couple of days prior to pick up to avoid a lengthy wait. Very friendly staff, but absolutely the SLOWEST pharmacy in all of Saskatoon on filling prescriptions.

The original founder and her son are back running this fab restaraunt! We were in Stoon briefly and once we hear Rose was back we made sure to go... The best wonton soup of my life and phenomenal giant noodle bowls and spring rolls... Try the buttered chicken wings too... Our service was great from son ( not sure of his name) described flavours of dishes to a T and kept our ice waters full.... I highly highly recommend you try this old gem ?

A bit pricey but from beginning to the end your experience at this restaurant will be one of high class and dress, the best of everything: From your appetizers, your meals, your deserts, and even your drinks by the way they look once all ingredients are put together. Remember: The presentation is as important as the drink itself. A well-made shooter when complete will look like a mini desert. Make a few different kinds, flavors, and styles, that way a couple will take the place of the desert. I have been eating at Taverna for 29 years. I worked as a prep cook there in school. The restaurant changed owners this fall. I was hoping it would not happen, but the restaurant's high standards have fallen off. I chose the beef torpedo and spaghetti twice in the last two weeks, hoping that last week was just an aberration, but it was not. The beef torpedo when prepared under the supervision of Wally and Roberto featured a torpedo bun toasted to the perfect crispness, tender and juicy tasty beef roast, and a dipping sauce which was perfect- flavourful and not too thick or thin. The current version consists of as limp bun, a watery dipping sauce and stringy tasteless beef. You can get this mundane fare at any greasy spoon. The meat sauce, which was a restaurant mainstain, was flavourless, cloudy, colourless and thin. Again, when Wally and Roberto were in charge, it was thick, robust, and flavourful. The spaghetti itself resembled something from a Campbell's chicken noodle soup can, being way overcooked.
I can only imagine what has happened to the more complex dishes.
I think the owner should bring Wally and Roberto back for an adjustment on the cooking methods.
The Taverna for me was like a home away from home. I now feel homeless.

I bought a designer dress which said on the tags do not dry clean and do not wash, so I was really concerned about ruining it. The lady I spoke with was really knowledgeable and suggested how it could be cleaned, it was really reassuring so I took the plunge and got it cleaned and it looks perfect!

I have eaten here 7 odd times since our extended stay in the hospital. This place has the fastest ticket times of anywhere I have eaten in the city. Staff is kind and lounge is punctual even on busy nights.
