Thanks to Indra for playing telephone tag and helping me organize my vehicles winterization program. Thanks to Carlos for making sure all the work was done within the limited time I had available. My VW Golf would not start, so I had CAA give me a boost but since we are only in Collingwood for 1 more day, I was left to try to figure out what the issue was. I was called Import Auto Center and they were able to squeeze me in. They checked the car out and gave it a clean bill of health, and did not overcharge by replacing the battery or alternator which I was happy with. I appreciated them being able to get me in quickly and provided me with peace of mind. Thanks very much for your help.

Actually, I am a little worried to be recommending Alec so highly, since he is the best damn mechanic I have ever had. I am worried that he is going to get too busy that he will not have time to fit me into his schedule in the future. Take it from me, he is the most honest, fair and professional mechanic you will find anywhere. It will be a sad day for me when he does eventually retire. I personally do not trust anyone else with my vehicles and as a result, I refuse to go anywhere else.

I went to Steve's Discount auto yesterday for an oil change and was pleasantly surprised to be greeted by the owner who was knowledgeable, courteous and didn't try to rip me off. The price I was told on the phone was the price I paid. I will definitely go back. It's nice to find a garage you can trust.
