I have visited this cafe for several times. Every time I was there, I was fully satisfied with the food, helpful staff. Ali - the Manager was very supportive and responsive. It is a friendly restaurant. The waitresses are nice. The fish (sashimi) was very fresh, but the salmon and tuna were cut in a big chunk (too thick to eat). The the noodles of Nabeyaki Udon were too hard (normally japanese udon should be chewy). The soup of the udon is just a soy sauce soup based with some fish cakes, a shrimp tempura and a fish tempura. The tempura served with the noodles became soggy. The Uni sushi was fresh and the price is good ($6.50 per order). The vegetable tempura dinner is so so. The vegetable tempura were in big chunk, not crispy enough. The sauce of the tempura is okay. I saw other people in the next table who had bento box dinner. Those bento box dinners looked good to me. my friends and I were looking for a Korean restaurant with fresh taste and clean atmosphere and Steeles Seoul House definitely delivered our wants! The food was really good and the staff was really friendly too! I truly recommend saeng sun jjim (fried fish with oyster sauce) and sam gae tang (whole chicken soup with ginseng)! it's definitely a must go place!!! Lire plus

High quality, delicious food, great service every time. Owner takes great pride in delivering excellent food and service. We go as a work group every couple of weeks and I usually have the veggie sandwich or margarita pizza. Both are consistently perfect. Salads are always fresh. Charming atmosphere, beautiful chandeliers and old stone walls covered with vintage black and white photos. The food was excellent, and our server was absolutely lovely. A bit pricey, but really a wonderful experience overall. One thing to note is the two-hour limit on dining, which is best to know about in advance. I visited the Richmond hill location recently for the first time. Considering it was a Monday the restaurant was almost full , a little wait and I was seated by a gracious lady ( I think one of the owner's family).I liked their ambience (they have recently renovated) and efficient service. The food was just awesome. Butter chicken was delicious , lamb chops tender and the black dal complimented the whole meal. Nan was soft. Ask for seat in glass round room. Lire plus

After reading some excellent reviews, I decided to bring my husband here for his birthday dinner. Most of what we had were new to us but very tasty. I've always wanted to try jamon iberico and we were able to get our first taste of the famed iberico and it was indeed fantastic! I absolutely love this place! Although the atmosphere of this restaurant is rather dark, gloomy, and sketchy, they have one of the best steaks and lobster in town. Usually we order bbq ribs and potato fries for appetizers. These appetizers are usually mediocre. As for the entree we always order the rib eye steak as well as 2lb-4lb lobster. The rib eye steak at House of chan is one of the best steaks I have ever had. The steak at House of Chan melts in your mouth as you eat it. This type of steak should only be eaten if you enjoy the natural taste of steak, and are expecting no additional added flavours. The lobster is usually just as good as the steak. They offer you a rich butter as a dip. I really enjoy this dish as well. Lire plus
