Challenging but fun! Metcalfe Golf Club is a well-kept, interesting course with something for every level of player. Mature trees line fairways on both the 18-hole and 9-hole courses (along with a few imposing trees that often block shots on some particular fairways!) The greens are well maintained and are designed to add challenge (and strokes) to your game! Hickories Restaurant provides tasty meals after a round; and for tournaments, the buffet dinners they provide are excellent! Metcalfe, on the whole, provides great value for both golf and meals, and is definitely one of the better clubs around Ottawa!

We stopped on our way to Toronto from Vars. There were unexpected break issues. They took our car in right away and fixed the issue. Friendly staff that really helped us out and got us back on then road to our destination.

Excellent service from start to finish. Our experience was smooth from the moment Corinne arrived to give us advice and a quote. We loved that someone came to us with colour samples and then took photos and provided us photos. She continued to help with trim selections. From then to the final order, installation and billing all went extremely well. And most important the final product which was 2 iron ore walnut coloured garage doors with windows look fabulous and totally changed the look.

My late grandparents old clock had not worked in years. Not wanting to try and repair it myself , I decided to email Schafer's Clock Repair on a Sunday afternoon. knowing they were not open till Monday , to my surprise I got a phone call in 1o minutes.
Peter Schafer called my while he was sitting at the airport in Calgary ( visiting family ) He walked me thru a very simple thing to get my clock back up ant ticking !

Great service. We set up a time for delivery after the drywall guys were finished and it was delivered without damage and it came with a warranty on materials and install. I have left both elderly dogs on medicine & youngsters with energy to burn here & am always pleased with the care that they receive. The dogs’ welfare always comes first. My dogs love to visit here & while I am away I never worry about them. They run right in as if they see it as a great vacation spot! The one rescue dog I had who was frightened of kennel noises got special attention to keep her calm & happy. I have also had my dogs groomed here & they always come out sparkling clean & beautifully trimmed.
