It’s been a year since I slipped on black ice and hobbled into The Spinal Garage. I entered a treatment plan knowing that my condition would not be a quick fix. Within 6 weeks my initial pain was reduced and my mobility increased, both dramatically. At each periodic assessment I showed moderate improvements and at the one year mark I’m now showing a reversal in some of the degeneration that I came in with. I couldn’t have put myself in better hands than that of Dr. Alan and his caring team.

I have been going to Carewell for a couple of years now. You will not find a more efficient clinic anywhere to help you with your health needs. The prices are in line, the offices are clean and organized and they are on time.
The chiropractor, physiotherapist, registered massage therapist and staff are talented, friendly and willing to work with you based on your time constraints and health concerns.

A few years ago I had injured my lower back playing hockey. I could barely walk and after seeing my Doctor, who prescribed me pain killers and anti inflammatory meds, I was seeing no progress. I was referred to Dr.Elkin who after an initial examination which included a scan and ex-ray began my treatment. Within two weeks of treatment I was able to run again and had no set backs. I found these guys on yp.ca, I strained my shoulder at the gym then made it worse at work.
They answered all my questions over the phone, then set up an appointment for a massage and Acupuncture treatment.
The next evening a Registered Massage therapist arrived at my front door, table in hand.
Educated me as to why my injury occurred, then suggested some exercises and stretches for me to do. He even went over them with me.
The whole experience was great!! I have a very busy schedule and the fact they came to me was a huge bonus.
I was even able to submit my invoice to my insurance for a full reimbursal.
I will defiantly be using IN YOUR HOME THERAPY again.

Part way through the week long ENDURrun 160KM stage race this past summer I started battling back spasms along with the distance. The pain was impairing my breathing and freedom of motion. After each stage, and in the one off day, Dr. Colin worked on my back to ensure I was ready for the next race day. i not only completed my fastest ENDURrun but ended it with a personal best marathon time to finish the week. I continued with a few more weeks of treatment, with both Colin and Dr. Erika the naturopath, which put an end to the spasms and let me enjoy the rest of my ultra racing season pain free. The Mayfair is a wonderful fitness, tennis, squash, and swimming club. The staff is impressive, from the front desk, to maintenance, to fitness coaches, and instructors -- professional and helpful. Since going there, Ive lost 16 pounds while quitting smoking. Both my body and my attitude have undergone profound, positive changes. I also recommend the spa and yoga studio downstairs.
