Food was reasonably good, but nothing to rave about or complain about either. Portion sizes were a little large. We were on the patio which was fine, but the chairs were back-breakingingly awful and the patio and tables sort of gave the impression that things weren't all that clean. Wait staff was reasonably attentive but not overly friendly. The overall impression was one of a cramped, crowded space both inside and on the patio -too bad they couldn't expand their space. Wow! what a great spot on King Street. Owner Tony Loschiavo has done it again. Newly opened Paese on King Street delivers. With a beautiful upscale atmosphere, fun and not pretentious, he is going to give the others on this King St West strip a run! Excellent food, great friendly genuine service. Can't wait to return for their bar menu that promises to have bar snacks with a twist. Big portions, affordable prices. Lire plus

The foccacia bread was delicious. They brought us extra when ours was gone. The decor is calming even when the restaurant is packed. Please make a reservation! The restaurant is very small with about 12 tables. Pasta sauce was great, and I am a very fussy sauce person. Husband loved the vodka tomato bacon pasta dish. Can't wait to go back! Lire plus

Fantastic Italian restaurant! The service was excellent and the food matched the service. We had 4 of us and we all really enjoyed our meals. So impressed by both food and service. Complimentary bruschetta was fresh bright well balanced and incredibly yummy. The Alfredo was solid traditional Italian with a beautiful unique undertone I couldn't identify but loved.
