My spouse and I discovered this restaurant as a fluke- we were not in there to eat, in there to conduct business with the owner for a local festival. When my spouse got back to the car he said, we are going to go back there for lunch. And we did just that and were very impressed. We were not sure of the sizes so we both ordered 2 medium panzerottis, and wow, we didn't need to make dinner that night. Very affordable and the best panz I have ever eaten in my life.

Everyone really enjoyed the various meals that were delivered promptly by a very courtious young lady. The place seemed very busy but the coffee pot was still circulated and offered quite a few times... REAL Scandinavian!!!. That was a real treat.. We all agreed that the food was great and reasonably priced... we would go back.

11/10 i had the poutine and it was so good, some of the best that I've had in years, the chicken tenders are perfect and the chicken balls are amazing too, the staff make you feel like part of the family! I genuinely have nothing to complain about, i love it here.

I think over all a nice place to go eat, the atmosphere is relaxing and easy going. The service was excellent and the staff really could not be anymore friendlier and courtesy. Just a delight. I had the steak sandwich which was done to perfection. A real jem of a place.

I have to agree with the previous reviewer. I was to meet my wife there and had to drive by twice to see it ; and i'm down in that area 2 or 3 times a week.Need a bigger sign perhaps a lit awning like money mart where i parked .Food was terrific and waitress was friendly. I will definitely be back.

Dim sum at the Canton doesn't disappoint. It's always fresh, authentic, and delicious as it should be. My only issue is with the service, which is inconsistent depending on who is serving. The hired staff is preferred over the owners, as they are more friendly and patient with customers. The owner isn't unpleasant per se, but just a little too involved and expectant. Love the restaurant overall, either for dimsum or an authentic Chinese dinner item. The service fades into the background with food that good!

We were all totally impressed with the food. We have dined here 3 or 4 times in the last 8 months and all times were very impressed.
Their fish and chips is amazing...best fried fish I have ever tasted...not greasy at all, the batter was unique to what I've ever experienced before and absolutely delicious.
Salads are excellent and portions for all food is large. Excellent value for the meal portions and taste of the food.
Atmosphere is very relaxing - casual dress. The wait staff are competent and pleasant.
We look forward to going back again and again, as we've never been disappointed.

The meal was plain jane, for the price i expected alittle more flare. The restaurant was empty which tells me a story in itself. The meal was skimpy, it was served on a large plate with the small steak which was chewy, a few carrots, and 2 roasted potatoes off to the side, which made the plate look empty. the soup (which was extra, and cost $5) was in the smallest bowl i have ever seen and only half full, the same with the creme boule. I must say though that the caesar salad was delicious, and the coffee was very good. It had been 10 yrs since my last visit because of poor food and i dont think i will try it again, in the near future.
