Caribou restaurant is our restaurant of choice. Whether it is just a small group of us or a large group in for a party Caribou is the place to be. Personally I manage a local hotel and we send our guests there time after time. The food is excellent and consistant whether it is just their gourmet pizza's or full dinner entre's. Desserts are to die for especially the creme framboise. The service is always personable and efficient. Their wine list is the best in town and they have won many awards. Have always had a keen enjoyment of this restaurant since my wife introduced me to it 6-7 years ago! As others have noted, the interior decor could be improved upon. The wait-staff are also overtaxed when it is busy (quite frequently)...and usually a bit of a wait when ordering for take-out (so order an hour or two in advance so not to be disappointed...on New Years...order in the morning for dinner pickup time!!)...the spring rolls are excellent as is the chicken satay! Other main dishes are great also depending on your preferences. After having tried a few Thai places in Toronto...our Thunder Bay Thai restaurant is definitely much better!!! I have been going to this Restaurant since it opened and think It Is unfair that you allow people to post comments against the owner.. Every time and I mean Every time myself and my party has been there we have been treated with the utmost respect. Our servers have been great and the food has been Fantastic. The owner has always gone out of his way to to make sure everything Is to our satisfaction. As for yelling at his employee's have NEVER seen it one time..Maybe you should stop to think before posting these slanderous reviews that these might be disgruntled employees who do not want to work but stand around texting or showing customers their tattoo's among other things which i have seen in other shops..My family and I will go back to rooster and continue to go back. Most amazing pasta ever. The caeasar dressing was the best. The chocolate mousse cake was so good, not too sweet. The service was great, not too intrusive, very friendly. I love how the kitchen is out front so you can see them cooking. The cooks all seemed to be young but were very professional. The owners answered any questions I had, and very friendly. I love the fact that their pasta is made almost every day, on site and they told me that they have one employee that makes all the pasta from scratch. Lire plus

I haven't been a fan since I asked teh waitress if I could have a couple of pieces of tomato on my salad and she told me that they would have to charge me for that. Now they came out with their chicken wings..have you seen those...must be mutant chickens because I have never seen chickens that small. The first time I visited Oriental Gardens was around this time last year. I went to lunch with a friend, and loved it! My plate was full and for only $11 It's a cute little place, obviously a family business. Which I love :) I usually order the number 10, along with some egg rolls. Personally, I think their eggrolls are 'Da bomb' Very good food, always hot. I've been reading a lot of reviews about bad customer service. But this has never been a problem for me. The girls are very nice. Though I do agree, that sometimes they are a bit too chatty with each other. Which is why I mostly order take out. I once walked over, and placed an order for take out. The girl said it'd be about 30 minutes. So I sat down and timed them (which I always do) I waited about 45 minutes for my food. But, I didn't blame them because it was very busy. I wouldn't recommend using their bathrooms... It's very dirty in there. I used it once, and swore never again. Overall... Great food! Good service! Awesome prices! Lire plus

had a delicious meal here and great service. most of us had the prime rib which was excelllent, one person had the salmon which was also great and one person had the salad bar and appetizer.
