This little restaurant opened about a year or so ago and is now officially our favourite Japanese restaurant in the neighbourhood. The sushi is nothing short of amazing. An incredible selection of original roll creations is augmented by all of the favourites. What's best is they use wild salmon for their creations and obviously keep abreast of what is fresh at the market judging by their ever-changing special board. I had some wild hamachi sashimi there that just about made me swoon it was so amazing. The noodle soup is very flavourful as well and the only teeniest suggestion I could make would be to remove the skin from the chicken before plopping it into the soup. To top off your meal the tempura bananas and ice cream is not to be missed. The restaurant itself is what you would expect decor-wise but a neat and kitschy touch they include is customer testimonials posted all around the restaurant. The location in the heart of Main and the service also can't be beat. Truly some of the best sushi I've ever eaten.

A newly opened shanghaiese restaurant in Fairview. The food is tasty and the owner is very kind. Remember to ask for their housemade chili sauce which is just amazing. Will definitely come back.

remains the most reliable bet for an evening of fine dining on the White Rock waterfront. I've come here for 12 years and was sad to see other excellent restaurants fold - Giraffe's enduring quality and style are beloved by locals. The warm, funky, elegant interior and stunning view are worth the visit. The service strikes a perfect balance between professionalism and friendliness.Highly recommended.

You can order by phone and before you get there the pizza is already READY waiting for you. 5. The staff is POLITE and the facility is always CLEAN! Took my 3 grown kids for lunch today. Food was delicious- so fresh and the portions were huge! Service was great as usual. It was nice that due to Covid the restaurant was quieter. I realize I didn’t notice the voice calling out the orders over the intercom today. Maybe they have done away with that. I hope so. It was very loud and annoying especially if you sat under the speaker. 5 stars today.

Ma femme et moi aimons aller à ce chaleureux restaurant. Le service est toujours attentionné, les portions généreuses et savoureuses.
Après environ 5 visites, nous avons l'habitude de commander les mêmes plats qui nous font saliver chaque fois. Pour moi, c'est le demi-poulet ("free run rotisserie chicken"); ma femme, les moules et frites.
Je vous suggère de faire des réservations puisque ce resto semble toujours paqueté en soirée! :)

Best ravioli mushrooms of my life! My mouth is still watering to think about the pasta dish I had there! The rest of the people at my table enjoyed their dishes as well; especially the steak. The service is professional yet a little impersonal but as long as my food is on the table i'm not complaining! I would recommend that place for a casual date!

Vraiment un incontournable si vous avez de jeunes enfants! La nourriture est délicieuse...la meilleure pizza, les meilleurs pâtes, tout fait avec des ingrédients locaux et biologiques. Parfait si vous avez des enfants allergiques aux arrachides, c'est un établissement qui n'utilise aucune noix dans sa cuisine. Il y a une petite cuisinette ou les enfants peuvent jouer pendant que papa et maman relaxent. Réservez une table à côté de l'aire de jeux pour surveiller vos petits sans avoir à vous déplacer. Les employés sont très chaleureux et adorent les enfants. C'est très bruyant et les enfants sont partout! C'est notre resto préféré pour sortir en famille à Vancouver. Vous pouvez commander des pizzas pour emporter.

I go hear at least once a week with my husband and two kids. Never disappoints, in fact we always get amazing food, exceptional service, and walk out with full bellies. Don't be put off by the emptiness, it has only been around for a few months so word is just getting around. The lady who is the main cook is the real deal!! I am Sri Lankan and my husband is Spanish and we LOVE it here. Brings me back home every time. The rice and curry is my favorite and the beef dosa is rocking!

Excellent food. This is one of the best Thai food I have tried. I asked for spicy in Thai style and it was hot! Love it! Chicken with cashew is the best with lots of veggies. Chicken stir-fry with sweet basil is very tasty. Spring rolls were crisp and fresh. Chicken satay is something to have if you don't like spicy. Love green papaya salad. I ordered medium, was a bit more spicy than I thought, but love it! Basil spicy noodle is yummy. I love the thick kind of noodles and they did well. Delivery service was very friendly. What more can I say! Can't wait to try more dishes.
