We checked on the net and decided to drive by and see if we liked the look of this place. We did and decided to have our 52nd Anniversary dinner there. We ordered Wonton Soup, Scallops and bacon,Broccoli Almond Chop Suey, Pan fried prawns,Chicken balls and absolutely everything was perfect. Scallops and prawns cooked to perfection, tender and juicy. Even the fortune cookie was better that others I have had.( We did take leftovers home) Thank you ! Be back soon. Lire plus

This is a great place for hanging out with your friends. You can eat and chat for as long as you want. The burgers are great and the bottomless drinks and fries are just very attractive! I moved to Surrey 2 years ago and just couldn't find any restaurant that served good old fashion home cooked greasy spoon diner fare. I spotted Round-Up Cafe on a drive by and decided to pull over and try it out. They refurbished the chairs to a fabulous sparkly silver. It is cozy and comfy and very clean and the owners are extremely friendly. I ordered a soup for my toddler and a special for myself. I was surprised the special came with a soup and a desert which was nice for $12. Coffee is $2.10 and they only charge once and are excellent with refills. Food was 'just like grandma used to make' very tasty. Soup was a bit to peppery for my taste buds. My main was excellent but if you don't want gravy, you need to order it on the side or they pour it on. Coffee was excellent. My son loved the vanilla pudding - another unexpected surprise. The restaurant was packed at lunch on a weekday. This is a restaurant I would recommend Grandad to visit. Nice old fashion 1940s diner feel with good home cooking. Lire plus
