My pipes leaked into my basement and I had to shut off my water so I needed a plumber fast. I was lucky enough to read the reviews on Ashton and give them a call.They sent Tim within the day. Tim was pleasant, competent and professional... this was someone who KNEW what he was doing. He fixed my leak (which was the least of my problems) and checked the house to make sure everything was okay. He charged only for what was replaced and he did not charge me for frills or small "fixes". Thank you Tim for fixing the wiring and giving me heating for the first time in years! I'd recommend Ashton (ask for Tim!!) in a heartbeat.

I was skeptical at first because they ranked so high in reviews and this place was located in Delta/Surrey but I must say I was really impressed. I think Ive been to all the Japanese restaurants along the Westcoast and Akari is absolutely top notch. Their black rice specialty rolls and tempura were especially memorable. The owner told me they have a tempura master who have been making tempura for 20 years! Ill definitely be back with my family and friends.

Dr houchmand is the best around, he is very professional and caring, he goes above and beyond to help and take care of your dental concerns, I have been going to him since 2002, and I drive from cloverdale just to see him, I must pass a 100 dental offices, but it is him who I trust and fully recommend in the highest regard

The office has been fully upgraded to the latest technology, digital x-rays, comfortable treatment rooms. The same great reliable service stays the same. Dr. Patrick Wu is excellent treating children, shows lots of patience, and explains things very clearly. We have been long time patients and have lots of trust in them.

Everyone knows about this bowling center if you live in the Burnaby/Tri-city area. It's the best! It has different and cheap deals every day. It has more than ten lanes and it has different size/weight of the bowling balls. It has also a small pub/restaurant and a arcade. You just won't get bore when you are there! It's just a famouse place that you often have to wait for 30 minutes to get your lane, so go there early!

I was our first visit to this neighbourhood pub.
It is a small restaurant with low ceilings and panelled in dark wood. The seating is very comfortable. The menu is small, however it offers something for everyone.
We tried their signature dish "Oyster po' boy" ($15). It is served with a roasted tomato soup drizzled with rich basil oil. The dish was flavourful and nicely presented. The service was good and very friendly.

Gotta love the Wrap Zone. They serve up wrap sandwiches with tasty ingredients and combinations to suit any palate. My particular favourites are the Thai Tanic with Chicken and the Bombay Curry with protein. The service is what you would expect in a quik-serve restaurant as is the decor and atmosphere. They are a little hard to find since they are below street level but once you visit once you'll know exactly where they are when you return for more! Just writing this makes me hungry to head to the Wrap Zone tomorrow! maybe you should to.

I recently celebrated my birthday at a restaurant, and I must say the server was outstanding - knowledgeable, polite, and attentive. The rest of the staff were equally friendly. The food was excellent; we opted for the Dine-Out menu, and the recommended drinks paired perfectly. I'll definitely be returning for another visit. I also enjoyed a complimentary pastry, which was absolutely delightful.

So a bunch of us finally headed down to the Blue Canoe for dinner. A few had been there before, and a few hadn't, but we always go and critique places together. Absolutely loved the atmosphere, not a detail was spared in the design of the restaurant.
The real tester is of course the food, and it did not disappoint. They've thrown together some amazing flavours and clearly taken some chances that have worked out in their favour. The Drummettes....I don't eat chicken wings anywhere, but these ones were in a soy sauce of some sort that was fantastic!! The BBQ Salmon was probably the best salmon that I've ever had at a restaurant....not overcooked like most places. So much flavour. That was it for me, but others had a wide variety of food and rave reviews on all counts. A few questions on the sides that they came with, but generous portions and smiles all around. Oh, and the beer is good too...
