A lot of mechanics might've taken advantage of my situation but they were 100% honest and did what was best for my vehicle. To top it off, they didn't charge me a dime! Over the years have purchased bikes, skiis, snowshoes, and hiking poles from Robert. The cross country skiis and bindings and poles when bought as a package were cheaper than from MEC (same brand) and Robert installed the bindings.
I needed a second pair of hiking poles that folded up to be short enough for putting into a suitcase and bought a cheap set. They as just as good as my Black Diamond poles which cost double. Rob does research and finds items that are good quality at good prices.
