Nadege and Soul are such a positive and vibrant people that can make a lazy b.. actually want to exercise! I'm so grateful that this salon was able to help me....They are wonderful here and boy do they know how to cut and colour hair!!! I was so impressed on how they FIXED my hair. Just because they are in a small town means nothing they are totally up to the current styles. Just beware, I had to go here to get my hair fixed because of another local Richmond salon!!! Sue's Hair Advantage is the best in town!!!

My cousin from Holland (owner of a travel agency) wanted a special menu with a capable Chef and a special place to celebrate his 50th Birthday on holiday in Canada. He found it in Slackoni's. The setting on the water was intimate and relaxed with music supplied by a classical guitarist. This was a multi-course meal and each was delivered with great presentation style and flavour. The group was delighted with anti-pasto dishes of vitello tomatol, smoked salmon, mini portabello mushrooms stuffed with shrimp and a mouth watering caprese salad. Moving inside to a cozy adjoining party room we were treated to a tasty seafood fettuccini pescatore. The main event was elk tenderloin in a maple bbq glaze. And for those who like desert, the ultimate..the zucotto "italian bomb cake" Amazing!
As per the menu, the wine was also chosen to compliment each course. It was a great event and everyone was thrilled. Our european guests, so used to eating in Paris were very impressed! Hats off to Slackoni's staff in delivering the service in keeping with the excellent food. Congratulations to all!

The owner and his son are the most courteous people with the cleanest garage but efficient that I have ever seen. I knew the first time I went there and saw them working on building a race car and which they’ve done for many years and have many trophies and certificates on the walls of the garage I knew I was in the right place!
