Amazing sushi at incredible prices! Sushi Nanaimo is an one of a kind because they offer delicious rolls and combos at prices you really cant find anywhere else. The Awesome roll, Alaska Roll, and Nanaimo roll are my favourites and the Dinner for two combo is also great value if you are there with a friend. This place is cool! Arguably, the best wings I have ever had! My boyfriend and I have eaten at many grills, restaurants and the Wings are close the best! Our waitress provide us great service and she was so pretty! ^^ My favourites are Maple Bourbon, Bula Fiji, Maui Lime, and Sweet Thai. It was definitely the most fun experience I have had in this kind of restaurant and especially in the lower room, where there are several projectors and big screens. Recommended~ Lire plus

I moved to Surrey 2 years ago and just couldn't find any restaurant that served good old fashion home cooked greasy spoon diner fare. I spotted Round-Up Cafe on a drive by and decided to pull over and try it out. They refurbished the chairs to a fabulous sparkly silver. It is cozy and comfy and very clean and the owners are extremely friendly. I ordered a soup for my toddler and a special for myself. I was surprised the special came with a soup and a desert which was nice for $12. Coffee is $2.10 and they only charge once and are excellent with refills. Food was 'just like grandma used to make' very tasty. Soup was a bit to peppery for my taste buds. My main was excellent but if you don't want gravy, you need to order it on the side or they pour it on. Coffee was excellent. My son loved the vanilla pudding - another unexpected surprise. The restaurant was packed at lunch on a weekday. This is a restaurant I would recommend Grandad to visit. Nice old fashion 1940s diner feel with good home cooking. Lire plus

You have to remember when going here that this is a wine tasting room, not a place to have dinner. The wine list is imaginative and approachable. The service on a good night is excellent, on a bad night is so-so, but the staff have always been very helpful with the wine choices, pairings, and flight recommendations. The food is charcuterie, not full meals. Use this place to meet up for a pre-dinner drink, or to end off the night with some wine appreciation. Lire plus

We hit Black Forg last night before the Lions game and loved their vibe. The atrium that provides over half of the seating is ideally situated at the foot of Cambie Street to provide views of the North Shore and the workd going by on Water Street. They offer a great selection of draught and bottled beer and offered a take on a Snake Bite that they should put on the menu and call the Black Frog...who knew that adding Ribena would taste so good! The wings that were hotter than hot were exactly as advertised and really tasty! The only concerns we had were with the mains we had. The steak sandwich was a bit tough to chew as a sandwich but went better when I ate it open faced. The curry and chips were kind of bland and would probably be better as an Indian curry than a Thai curry. We will try other items on our next visit. Our concerns on the food aside, we will be back because it was such a great little spot. Head over to the Black Frog next time you're looking for a fun spot to chill! Lire plus

The restaurant has a colourful decor, friendly staff and overall a cheerful atmosphere. They say they cook authentic Malaysian food; well I can verify this, however, I can say that I love every dish on their menu. They were voted 'Best Other Asian Restaurant' in 2008 and 'Best South East Asian Restauranr' in 2009. I think this alone says a lot. Lire plus

Be extremely cautious with these restaurants in their billing. I have found the stores to 1)charge more than the price posted in the store 2)round up on non-cash sales. Rounding up can only be done in Canda with CASH payment. Not with debit or credit. Ask for FRESH PATTY as the patties are cooked in a bunch and sit in a tray until served.
