I have always wanted to learn how to dance. With the gentle push of a Friend who recommended Arthur Murray Dance Studio of Woodbrigde, I decided to stop making excuses. I was told that if I wanted a place where I could feel confident and learn to lead in my life, then I came to the right place. My career is one where I spend long hours sitting at the computer. Thus, socializing and public speaking were not my forte, but dancing instruction helped me gain the skills I needed to use the talents I have and apply myself in a more directive management environment. Through the patience of my teachers and the wonderful people I have met, I have had the opportunity to develop rhythm and learn non-verbal cues of communication to help me lead and dance with esteem. Pushing myself to go outside my comfort zone and socialize during group experience has had a phenomenal impact on my career and life! I smile more as I move around more rhythmically, I participate more confidently in social environments and I even stand taller. Physically, I feel more vibrant and emotionally I am more stable and confident in myself!! Thank-you to the wonderful staff and people who participate every week in such a healthy and engaging environment. Opportunities are endless if you have the desire, give yourself the tools you need for life. As their motto says "Walk-in and Dance out!!" Sweetpea's is a very special florist in the heart of Roncesvalles. The staff at Sweetpea's are experts in their craft, designing beautiful bouquets that are unique and fitting for the occasion. During the spring and summer months Sweetpea's offers many annual and perennial potted flowers that are a perfect fit for the garden. Poinsettias and Christmas trees are available in the Christmas season. Beautiful decor, gift cards, vases, soaps and trinkets line the walls of Sweetpea's creating a little piece of heaven. After trying several other florists in the area and in Etobicoke Sweetpea's always astounds me with the freshness of their flowers. Bouquets last anywhere from one to 3 weeks depending on the sunlight or indoor temperatures. The prices vary depending on the type of flowers but they are competitive, if not a little cheaper. It is very clean, inviting and great music to listen to while your there. The staff is very friendly, cool, and edgy. I just had my hair coloured by my dear friend Janet. I highly recommend her if you want someone who really cares about exactly the image you see for yourself. She is your girl. She really takes her time and cares about the client. I attended this seminar at the beginning of May 2018. I wish I went to it earlier. Like a year ago before signing up with an agency. I would save myself couple hundred bucks. I came in today with a mess (multiple layers and lots of texturing from previous salons) and was fortunate to get an appointment for a haircut and highlight with Him and staff. I felt at ease with his recommendations and appreciated his professionalism in assessing what had previously been done.
