I have had nothing but great service from the people at Johns Foam store. They had a custom mattress for us for only $50 more that the standard one. They put some cushioning on my husbands iWalk2 to cushion the plastic parts that dug in for the cost of the foam, even though it took 1/2 hour to get it cut and positioned on the brace. Super accommodating and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Excellent friendly staff! specifically at this location. Unlike the reviewer below( believe she has the wrong store altogether )The severs remember my orders, including the extra toppings I like , and unlike most of the other subways here in Nanaimo, aren't cheap with the toppings . I specifically drive out of my way to go to this store - usually am there when its busy around lunch, but have also gone late in the evening and although the staff has changed , they also have given good service.

Ron and his team are awesome. They are super easy to book in with, he answers all my questions, calls me with options if things need to be repaired or replaced, and don't try to upsell. They are professional and courteous - and are a bunch of great guys!

We lunch here everytime we come to Nanaimo after we accidently dropped into the mall where it is located more than 7 Winters ago.
About 6 months ago The original small crowded (not only at regular mealtimes) expnded when an adjacent location became free. This has not stopped the need to wait for a seat at peak times though.
The atmosphere is open, new, with friendly staff, eager to get you seated, take your order and bring you your selections. It all can take place as quickly as you are ready to order and service is quick and efficient. We have tried most dishes and have our favourites which are Salad rolls (shrimp with veggies and noodles wrapped in a rice wrapper), Beef Satay soup, one of the curries, well it isn't easy to pick juse one.
Soups are served in large bowls and usually include one type of noodle, some veffies, meat or not, of your choice and depending on your order, may be accompanied by a dish of sprouts, Asian basil, lime and a few red chillies.
There is a waiting area when the place is full where you can sit or stand and watch one of three flat screens until a table is available for you.
Many regulars from the surrounding commercial and industrial area and we have been there many times when it opens at 11:00 to see people waiting for tables well before noon.
The broth is hot - temperature wise, so sip!

The facility was clean, had amazing new equipment, you have the view of an amazing lake, friendly staff and well put together/organized. Been to many gyms and this one is in my top bests for sure.
