We recently went on a trip to Africa and got a bunch of our supplies from MEC including mosquito nets, sleeping bags, quick dry and wicking clothes, hiking boots etc. There was a great girl working there that had just been to Africa and gave us a preview of what we could expect. Dr. McKenzie has been my dentist for over 10 yrs now and sees most of my family and many of my friends. She is kind, meticulous, very knowledgeable and after 10 yrs of dentistry I can truly attest to the quality of the work I have received under her care. On a tour of the mill today with a little group from Kerrisdale Seniors Centre I learned how a log becomes saleable lumber for commercial customers to refine further for their purposes. It was a privilege to see the expertise of all the staff - something like choreography. Each person knew what he was doing and why before passing the wood to the next part of the operation. Their knowledge, skill, and efficiency (strength and stamina)are admirable (astounding to me).

Laurie Robyn, Richmond hair stylist, recently did my husband's and my hair. The cuts were stylish and she did what we asked. My color was done correctly, no reds that don't belong on my brown hair. The salon was friendly, easy parking and we could avoid traffic because of its location at Blundell and Garden City. She is also very flexible with booking a time. My husband liked his haircut. I would recommend this shop and Laurie for a quality hair color and cut.

I had my hair cut here by Allison before I went on vacation. She did a fabulous job, and even now, a month later, every time I look in the mirror, I love my hair! Best haircut I've had in a long time.
The two things I appreciated the most were the quality of the blowout I left the shop with, and also how good Allison is at cutting layers. She pins up sections of hair properly and cuts each section individually with precision. I highly recommend this stylist.
