Ate in restaurant first time. Food was amazing. Service was great, except it was very hard to hear the server due to dining area was extremely loud. A hidden gem. No need to go to Toronto for the elegance and fine dining. Just terrific! The food presentation was great and the aromas and taste were "WOW"......very pleasing to the pallette. This place is a hidden gem. Walked in and ordered a pizza out of curiosity to see if it was good. The pizza is really great! The crust is better than most places and the pizzas are not as greasy. Don't let the outside fool you - this is one of those gems you find hidden away in the least likely location. We tried Papa's based on Restrauntica reviews - same reason we went with the deluxe panzerotti. You have to taste (and see!) this to believe it! I ate this thing for dinner, for lunch the next day, and AGAIN the day after that! Loaded with stuff like pepperoni, bacon, peppers and mushrooms - all wrapped up in a delicious, slightly chewy dough. It's about the size of a medium pizza - and large enough to share. Visited from out of the town to eat. To our unexpected surprise we were greeted by the rudest hostess. We decided to leave after not feeling welcome. I mentioned that there are many places to dine and thought they would like the business of a family of 8 on a sat 4:30pm. Her response oh no, we will be busy tonight anyway. My husband and I dined at La Casa on Saturday night. We started with Mussels for appetizer - delicious...I wanted to drink the sauce it was so good. We also shared a Ceasar Salad. The dressing was very nice, perhaps a bit too much garlic (a little too overwhelming). Still tasty though. I ordered lobster pasta, all I can say is DELICIOUS! So tasty. I brought some home and was looking forward to eating it again the next day for lunch. My husband ordered beef tenderloin. Again, delicious! Tender, perfectly cooked and tasty. The waiter was very professional and friendly. We had a great time and a fantastic meal. No wonder La Casa is still one of the best restaurant's in London. It's so nice to go out for dinner and receive a great meal. The meals are not pretentious or overpriced (unlike other London restaurants in the downtown area). The food is simply delicious. I have been a huge fan of Tonys for years. Been going to the location on Dundas for ages and this place is so classic Italian its such a London landmark. The portions are huge and I always order the large panzerotti just so I can take some home, awesome the next day. The service is always friendly and some staff have been there for quite awhile which is nice to see. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that wants great Italian food. Lire plus

We arrived in Kingston for a hockey tournament and searched for a restaurant that was able to accommodate a group of 40, half of which were kids. The owner together with his staff welcomed our team and did an amazing job. The kids had a great time, the service was the best we've seen from any east side Mario's, and they did a great job on the food. Hats off to the staff and the owner for going above and beyond!
