This place is overpriced for what you get. My friend and I shared a light dinner, a glass of wine each and tea, and our bill (with tip and tax) came to $100. I ordered the gnocci in tomato sauce, which was very good, and the bread was tasty. But for a meatless meal with no dessert and no appetizer, the prices are too high. It seems like you're paying for atmosphere. The service was pretty good, but at the end when it got busier we had to signal for service. I think there's better value out there for the money. Seemed like a lot of people there could "expense" their dinners, which explains the crowd. Lire plus

Poinsettias and Christmas trees are available in the Christmas season. Beautiful decor, gift cards, vases, soaps and trinkets line the walls of Sweetpea's creating a little piece of heaven. After trying several other florists in the area and in Etobicoke Sweetpea's always astounds me with the freshness of their flowers. Bouquets last anywhere from one to 3 weeks depending on the sunlight or indoor temperatures. The prices vary depending on the type of flowers but they are competitive, if not a little cheaper. I had my piano moved last Friday by Lance and crew from Braymore. All I can say is Wow! I have never seen such efficient and perfect execution of Service before this. Lance has the experience along with the technical, communication, and leadership skills to make the project look easy but I know it is a difficult procedure to move around a 600 pound piano. You will not believe how large their garden centre is or what a huge inventory of Annuals & Perennials they have. They also have Shrubs, Trees, Topsoil, Gravel, Rockery, Firewood - you name it, they have it! And so conveniently located on the border of the Beaches & Leslieville with easy parking - a city dweller's dream!
