Everyone knows about this bowling center if you live in the Burnaby/Tri-city area. It's the best! It has different and cheap deals every day. It has more than ten lanes and it has different size/weight of the bowling balls. It has also a small pub/restaurant and a arcade. You just won't get bore when you are there! It's just a famouse place that you often have to wait for 30 minutes to get your lane, so go there early!

I just wanted to post a review about an awesome experience I had with this company. I can honestly say this has to be the very best there is when it comes to this industry. Jeff & his crew came to my place and did some reno work after a flood and it looks so great. It really looks brand new, the paint texture was matched to perfection. The drywall paint and baseboards look like they were never damaged. The most courteous and professional contractors I have ever come across. I highly recommend these guys to anyone looking for a great contractor in the Greater Vancouver Area!

We are building an addition to our existing West Vancouver home and needed an excavation team. Al, Blake and George were able to fit us in and went above and beyond what we ever hoped for. They needed to excavate tons of earth and large rocks which are expensive to dispose of. In less than two hours, Al and his team managed to quickly and effortlessly use much of the additional soil and granite rocks to build a stepped walkway and berm on a much neglected side of the house saving us over $1000 in removal fees and improving the property immensely. However, the best part was the attitude and passion of this team lead by Al. They were incredibly fast and really fun to work with. I strongly recommend Al and his company to anyone.

Recently, I had my teeth cleaning done at the Bentall Dental Clinic in Richmond. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the lovely ladies at the front. They were very welcoming and full of positive energy. I'm usually nervous visiting the dentist especially a new place but it was a fun and relaxing experience. My dental hygienist was very personable and attentive and ensured I was comfortable at all times. She was very thorough with the cleaning and I knew I was in good hands. I then met with one of the dentists to conduct my first visit evaluation and both him and his assistant were professional and open to answer all my questions. Overall, I would highly recommend this dental office even though you don't live close by. I live in the Fairview area and drove down because I heard the service was excellent and it was true!! Thank you to the Bental Dental team for a wonderful experience!

This is the place I visited when I cam to Vancouver for the first time. In that sense, when I noticed people having a great time there, it always puts a smile on my face. This time, although it was quite busy as usual but my friends and I were seated promptly. Friendly server whose service was simply a top-notch. This place's got everything: a great atmosphere, something different from other run of the mill restaurants in town and also more importantly great food! This place is the perfect blend of bar and restaurant in the evenings which I easily enjoy most for the night out. Above all, their Bellini and French 75 are to die for!

I don't appreciate the other "SarahBaker" using my name to spread such lies. I've been a member since march 2011 and have loved every minute! I've tried regular gyms, team sports and going for daily walks and after a few weeks I would loose motivation, get bored and never see results. I've lost 6 pant sizes in about 5 months and have been going 3-5 times a week since I joined. I've NEVER done that for longer than a few weeks in the past!! AND I now look forward to working out. I started working there in August, and haven't looked back. We don't pressure or intimidate. We just want you to give your best. Whatever that may be. We have women of all shapes, sizes, age, and fitness/martial arts experience. It's fun, and a great stress relief! Come in and ask me, I'll tell you I'M the REAL Sarah Baker.

I recently used Buy Sell & Trade to get rid of a bunch of stuff around my house. I registered on their site and had some trouble so sent an email to their web master. He phoned me in the evening (ok, I was shocked!) and walked me through getting registered. I posted my stuff and within 20 minutes had received my first call. Best of all, all the ads online are also printed in their paper. To me that kinda covers all the off line people. I'm pleased with how easy the process is to use their site and that all the ads are checked for scams.

Don't let the humble appearance of this restaurant fool you! Lhy Thai has fantastic food at very reasonable prices. Most meals fall in the $10 range, making it easy to justify a night out. I know of people who come here every time they're in the Vancouver/Burnaby area. Definitely worth checking out.

Most times when you go to a wine store that isn't run by the government you expect to pay through the nose for your selection. Not here though! I confess that I don't know most wine prices by hear but Everything Wine seemed to be pretty close if not on par with what the Government stores charge. And the selection! They carried bottles that I have never seen before and also a great selection of vintage products too. They have a wine tasting bar in the store too and they always seem to have interesting wines on offer here that you drink out of class glasses...not those silly little plastic ones that most tastes come in. Speaking of glasses they carry the full, and I mean full, line of Reidel glassware and tell you what type of wine every type of shape is for. If you're buying a gift Everything Wine carries a great selection of ways to wrap your present. They also opened a store at Morgan Crossing in South Surrey and it is every bit as good as this location. Check them out next time you're on the North Shore!

Yaletown Brewing Company was one of the first restaurants involved in the revitalization of Yaletown and the fact that they're still here has got to tell you something. They make good food and, since they are a brew pub, they make great beer. Like all the other Mark James Group restaurants they offer the cheap beer and pizza nights that my family and I enjoy so much but quite often we head here for all the other great items on the menu too! If you can't decide which beer you want to try ask the server for one of their tasting flights where you get four different beers to sample. The location is outstanding and they have a lounge on one side and restaurant on the other so if you just want drinks and appys after work they are a great spot to choose! Last time we were there I had the Jakarta bowl with lamb tenderloin in a soy sauce with peppers and it was outstanding, My folks were with us and they swore by the fish and chips as well. One other cool thing that Yaletown does is if there is a game on at Rogers Arena they offer shuttle service to the game. So go on down to Yaletown Brewing Company and check them out!

Most people know what Starbucks does. For those of you that don't they are a great place to go for coffee-based beverages, smoothies, pastries and sandwiches. One of the things Starbucks does well is consistency, most times your favourite beverage is made well and the way you expect it. Let's face facts. Most Starbucks stores are more are less the same but that doesn't mean that they don't have differences. Here's what makes this store different. They are one of few drive thrus in the city and they are a convenient stop on the way into the city. They are not as convenient on the way out of the city but it can be done if you don't mind a circuitous route. The only problem with this store is that I have sometimes had some poor quality with my beverage. This is difficult when you have already continued on your way so i always make sure I take a sip before I pull away.

Vraiment un incontournable si vous avez de jeunes enfants! La nourriture est délicieuse...la meilleure pizza, les meilleurs pâtes, tout fait avec des ingrédients locaux et biologiques. Parfait si vous avez des enfants allergiques aux arrachides, c'est un établissement qui n'utilise aucune noix dans sa cuisine. Il y a une petite cuisinette ou les enfants peuvent jouer pendant que papa et maman relaxent. Réservez une table à côté de l'aire de jeux pour surveiller vos petits sans avoir à vous déplacer. Les employés sont très chaleureux et adorent les enfants. C'est très bruyant et les enfants sont partout! C'est notre resto préféré pour sortir en famille à Vancouver. Vous pouvez commander des pizzas pour emporter.

I stop at this Starbucks quite often on the way to work and they offer a great Starbucks experience here. The staff are friendly and welcoming and they do a good job of remembering the drinks of the regulars. A friendly hello and a wish for a good day go a long way in providing a quality experience and they do a good job in this respect. They are also obviously committed to delivering a quality product as I have almost always had a great beverage here and on the one time I didn't they gladly remade it and offered me a free drink coupon for next time. Not the greatest location in the world scenery wise but they make up for it with great customer service!
