Stef is such an amazing teacher. Im a beginner with a few physical limitations. She always shows me modifications that I can do to make the poses easier. She never judges and is always there to listen or offer advice. She is very knowledgable in all things Yoga and keeps up to date with the latest health news/info. Stef is always talking courses to update her skills too. I love her passion for what she does. It motivates me and keeps me pushing towards my goals.

We toured all of the Peterborough retirement residences when we were looking for a spot for my father. Applewood immediately felt warm and welcoming. We have never regretted the decision. They have provided a home-like atmosphere, with caring staff, and plenty of activities for those so inclined. The management response during this COVID pandemic has been nothing short of heroic. Dominic and Terry were excellent. Quality of work and professionalism far exceeded our expectations. They came in did work far beyond our expectations for the final result. Hard workers, very clean (never left a mess behind), very efficient, the time estimate they provide is very accurate and the quality of their work is hard to beat. We will definitely call them again in the future. Only complaint is that they don't specialize in other areas because I'd get them to do ALL my renovations!

Ron made a great effort to rebuild my 1885 decorative chimney before the roofers came.
At the same time they rebuilt a brick wall in my yard and repointed the house! They were very nice, fun to have around, and hard working. All in all they did an exquisite job on everything they touched. I'd be happy to have them back but they did the kind of job that will last for decades.
Thanks tons Ron and to your guys as well!!! I'm happy to give you a reference if you should ever need one!

We had a very good repair call from Phil. It was a difficult repair, but Phil was extremely patient working methodically to get to the blower. Once it was removed, not an easy process, he had a new replacement on hand and installed. No need for a second call. Phil added some new embers and our fireplace looks and is working better than ever! Highly recommend. Thank you again Phil.

I have used Frantastic Events on numerous occasions for my kids birthdays as Fran's cakes are amazing and totally nut free and gluten free if you need it. I also hired Fran to do my wife's 30th birthday party in terms of catering and the food was absolutely amazing and every guest commented on the quality of the food and the value for money was also top drawer! I went in here to have my sunglasses fixed. I purchased the sunglasses at Nelms. The pin would pop and the frames would fall apart into two pieces. Nelms took 3 months to replace the pin. So I went elsewhere when it popped again. The lady at Green Eyeware was delightful. She came up with an idea for a more permanent fix. And it work. Great one on one skills. She treated me like a person and not a customer. My new go to stop for all eye ware.
