I have always been interested in martial arts but never figured I could afford to take it up.. A friend of mine suggested that I come to a class at Western Karate Academy where his family studied Shokaido. So I went to watch and within a few minutes I knew this was the place for me. Sensei Doan is very understanding and compassionate about each one of his students...
The students themselves are made to feel a part of a very fine family. When working with each other we learn the most we can to the best of our abilities and it helps us to develop our character within.
The people in the academy make you feel welcome right from the first time you walk thru the door. Now martial arts is not for everyone but how will you know unless you give it a try?

What a beautiful little salon! From the moment I walked in, the staff were so warm and welcoming! I had my hair coloured by Melissa, and what a treat! This is the best colour I've ever had! She delivered exactly what I wanted and was so fun to talk to!
Parking was surprisingly easy! I parked in the parkade straight through the building right across the street and it was only $4 all day! I recommend this salon to everyone!

One usually does not go to a hospital to be entertained. Couple of days ago I had hernia surgery. Met everyone involved on a first name basis and shared quite a few laughs. If I could give MORE than 5 stars I would! The customer service, professionalism, and quality of the mechanics are amazing. I got a full service as well as an engine light checked and everything was done in a timely order, and professional manner. My vehicle was kept in excellent condition during and after the servicing.
