There is a sign outside of the restaurant advising everything is made from scratch and asks for your patience. Definitely worth the wait. The naan was nice and fresh. We ordered the Sarahi chicken, chicken pakora and lamb vindaloo. All excellent. Family run business, very simple and modest looking interior / exterior with limited seating.

I would said Matoi Sushi is one of these authentic Japanese restaurants that still serves the traditional fare. The restaurant is own and operated by Japanese people, and their service shows just that. They were courteous and friendly. Overall, I find their food quite good and would definitely recommend.

What a wonderful place for lunch this past weekend! We sat on the small, yet sunny patio out front and loved it. The Gooey Cheese Griller sandwich, the vegetarian sandwich, the spinach salad and french onion soup were wonderful. So yummy! And on Saturday's sangria pitchers are on special...and they were good! Not too juice tasting/sweet like most other places.
The only downfall I would say is the bathroom - it was not very clean and wasn't a great way to end lunch!
Overall love the food, great service, fun place!

They were communicative and included all relevant info in our emails, so I felt informed and confident when coming in. They’ve always been quick and so courteous. Such a relaxed shopping experience , and a big thankyou to Aaron for his willingness to answer questions and providing great information. There was no, absolutely no pressure sales. I came in looking to buy a violin, and Rino showed me around and let me play everything in the shop, even instruments wildly out of my price range, just for the experience. As an advanced student, just a few weeks of practicing on this instrument has completely transformed my playing, and I deeply regret the literal years I wasted being held back by a poor instrument.
Rino is the most prestigious luthier in Vancouver and he actually knows what he's doing. Highly recommended.
