EXP is a video game themed restaurant and bar. The atmosphere and theme are all based on games, as is the food and drink menu. The food and drinks are great, and fair for the price but not cheap. My favorite are the triforce burger and phasewalk cocktail, but nothing I've tried has been bad. The service is also excellent - last time I went we arrived shortly before closing and had a large group but they were able to seat us together and even insisted on giving me a free shot for my birthday when I was on the way out AFTER we had already paid. Overall I highly recommend it, I have not been disappointed yet. Lire plus

This is my measuring-stick for good food in Vancouver. This is my awesomeness in a meal. I've been here twice. Both times for my birthday. Both times the waiting staff were wonderful (even bringing out a birthday cake with my name on it), but even if they weren't, I'd come back here for the food. This place is an indulgence - bare that in mind - you're not here to skimp with a salad, you're here to try amazing game done RIGHT. I've had the venison, and I've had the wild boar. My mom has tried the game hen (so I had some) and I can't remember what else. It was so good that I honestly thought I should take it into a room and be alone with it, maybe buy it a drink and tell it how pretty it was before devouring it. Tender, succulent, rich, decadent - I don't think there are enough adjectives to describe how good the food is here, my tummy just growled because I'm writing this review instead of getting myself to DF's ASAP. Honestly - the place is romantic - it's awesome for a candlelit anniversary dinner. The food is stupendous, and the service is excellent. Now you see why they're my measuring stick, non? Lire plus

We came here for ‎the dinner, show and dancing. Every table had a good view of the stage. The Abba tribute band was fantastic. The service was excellent. The food was very good & We shared the 3 & 4 course options. We started off with endive salad, mussels, daily pasta special of Italian sausage in red sauce that was cooked al dente, risotto w/ porchini mushrooms & pork tenderloin. Along w/ a nice bottle of chianti we finished off with tiramusu & panna cotta. It was a great evening out. Lire plus

Goldies pizza is different then your usual pizza place. It is distinguished by the pizza itself. When you buy a slice (or a whole pizza) you don't end up with a huge bready crust, Goldies is served rustic style... on thin crust. It's seriously the best pizza I have tasted in town. I prefer the mushroom pizza the most. YOu can see all the slices Goldies offers through their display window right off of Pender street, or you can go inside, sit at the bar, and order a beer while you they heat up your slice! I really liked the atmosphere. The owner, Michael, is a classy guy. He treats everyone with respect who walks in the door. They are also becoming more tech savy, and are adding their listings to Foursquare, and twitter. I checked into foursquare at goldies pizza, and got a dollar off their draft beer. Its a nice place! Casual atmosphere and high quality food is served here. The owner is the chef and enjoys his craft. The chicken where they poured hot oil over it to get the crispy skin, tofu and crab patties with seafood egg whites, fresh vegetables cooked just right, and seafood melon soup you need to preorder were my highlights I particularly liked. Their signature dish is a bitter melon omelette. Lots of parking in the plaza where it is located. Service is fairly good. Lire plus
