This is the place I visited when I cam to Vancouver for the first time. In that sense, when I noticed people having a great time there, it always puts a smile on my face. This time, although it was quite busy as usual but my friends and I were seated promptly. Friendly server whose service was simply a top-notch. This place's got everything: a great atmosphere, something different from other run of the mill restaurants in town and also more importantly great food! Laurie Robyn, Richmond hair stylist, recently did my husband's and my hair. The cuts were stylish and she did what we asked. My color was done correctly, no reds that don't belong on my brown hair. The salon was friendly, easy parking and we could avoid traffic because of its location at Blundell and Garden City. She is also very flexible with booking a time. My husband liked his haircut. I had the pleasure today of talking with Christine in the pilates studio. I was in for physiotherapy treatment and happened to overhear another client talking about doing pilates there. I was directed to the upstairs studio and was impressed with the decor and cleanliness of the studio. I got a tour, and had the machines and rooms explained to me right then and there. I met Dr. D. in 1990 for a very difficult, corrective rhinoplasty. He had to graft cartilage from my ears to support the nose. It turned out fantastic. He has done other cosmetic procedures for me over the years and all have had excellent results. He is extremely knowledgable about all the latest procedures. He will never do any operation if I do not need it. Whether it is a featherlift, mini-lift or laser treatments his advice and skill is always at the optimum. I have gone to other surgeons only to be dissapointed. Because of his thorough knowledge and his excellent skills I am 54 years old and I pass easily for a fresh, natural looking 42 year old. My friend took me here for dinner on Thursday. We weren't too hungry so we had some appetizers instead... I had the tuna (excellent with the zesty sauce) and my friend had the poke. The girls who work at this place are quite visually appealing and I was amused that my friend was able to keep his eyes on me. It can be a little distracting when you're trying to eat ;-) The place was packed, which I guess is a testament to it's quality and presentation. Lire plus
