My husband used to work downtown, and we would frequently eat here for dinner instead of trying to get out of the city at rush hour. Food is really good, some very unique dishes, and the atmosphere is modern and contemporary.

The sign of a great Chiro is how often you need to see him. Dr. Tonys techniques are so effective, I only see him about twice a year, for minor tune-ups...or when I foolishly overy exert myself, where he is also very good at getting you in fast...Tony is the best, and nobody cares more. Servicing the business sector of downtown Calgary, West Restaurant is a great place to have lunch with colleagues or clients. The atmosphere is very modern and populated with business clientele, the service is quick, the pricing is reasonable, and the food is delicious.
The only challenge I had was that I didn't make a reservation for lunch, and at 11:30 it was very busy and our table of 3 just about did not get in. There isn't any signage in ScotiaBank (as of posting May 21, 2010) as to where to go, at least I couldn't see it, so you have to make your way to the 2nd floor to enter the restaurant.
Overall, I would visit West restaurant again.

Food is very good, ordered the signature burger. The seating isnt very well arranged for live gigs. The waiter was knowledgeable about the menu and her recommendations were very helpful.

Maruju is one of my favourite Japanese restaurants in the city. Fresh, honest Japanese food without too much gimmick and very reasonable pricing. Their lunch specials are a great value and the ramen is also great if you're in the mood for something other than sushi or sashimi.

We have been clients of this Vet hospital for 35 years. As far as we're concerned there is no other vet. We moved 30 minutes away but we still go to our favorite veterinary clinic. The vets there have always treated our pets to the best care anywhere. Our cat, who is like our child, will turn 20 on April 1st, and a lot of his long life is due to the treatment at the hands of these vets. Thank you to Drs. McConkey, Jones and Edwards. We are forever in your debt.
