Great value for amazing food. I'm surprised they don't change up their menu offerings a little more often. The restaurant is clean and pretty. The staff is attentive and informative. The only flaw is that you have to specifically ask for the bill, they do not ask you if you would like it. Some people might like that though.

Excellent value for your dollar. A fine choice for good quality food in ample portion. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Recommend calling ahead if you are ordering during lunch rush.
Have never observed anything offside with cleanliness, as expressed by another reviewer. Decided to write this review as a long time regular in response to that particular comment.

Tried this place out because of the mostly great reviews, and I agree. Best chicken club I've ever been served, home fries were REAL - DONE ON A GRILL, and were delicious, a pleasure to wait for. The bacon this restaurant uses is amazing, not salty or greasy, fantastic. The chef was surprisingly young (20's), but sure knows his way around a grill, and old-style/old school cooking. I couldn't finish my club (very rare for me). The place is not fancy and the chairs are hard/uncomfortable, but maybe they don't want people sitting around too long?
Will definitely be going back here as a go-to spot -- you can dine here with confidence!

Amazing atmosphere, super friendly people. We moved into the East York area about 2 years ago and we always go there for a fun time. The food is always fresh nothing frozen, the beer is always cold and most important Tom (The bartender) is always super nice pouring liquors. Great family run business and if your having a bad day Tom will tell you jokes or he will find a way to put a smile on your face :) :)

I had the Stew Oxtail wth Rice and Peas for the first time a few weeks ago and I must say...it was the best Oxtail I ever had. Hats off to the chef!
I went a week later and tried the stew chicken and it was also yummy. Ive tried other things there like their jerk chicken, goat wraps etc..and its all good!

Found this place just driving by. Wanted *Indian* food and took a chance. Was not disappointed, in fact this is our new favourite *Indian* restaurant. The service was fast and friendly and the atmosphere was well ... *Indian* :). The food though was amazing - delicious, flavourful, spicy and authentic. The menu is wide, caters to every palate and the servings are very generous. We had the banana leaf pomfret, mutton vindaloo, mutton biryani, kappa biryani, mussel fry and kerala parathas.

Dos Amigos was a great experience. The intimate atmosphere great food and soft music made for a memorable evening. Drinks were also great, yet slightly expensive (as most things are in Toronto). At Dos Amigos we find an elegantly decorated Mexican restaurant that strives to master quality and preparation in all its offerings. The menu ranges from burritos to nachos to chicken mole to fresh snapper ceviche to filet mignon in guajillo sauce, a spicy red wine blend. The staff was small in the even smaller restaurant, but it only added to the intimacy. The staff was very helpful, always seeming to know exactly when we needed help. They were helpful and dressed very appropriately for the restaurant. I would recommend trying their martini drinks as the bartender was wonderful making them. This restaurant is a great place to bring a date. Bon appetite!
