Was very impressed by the service and the way I was treated. They were busy but managed to get me in and finished in a timely manner. The owner was very helpful and supportive. Would recommend to anyone. Suprised by the negative feedback I have read. Makes me wonder if maybe there was something wrong with that customer, because they were GREAT!!

I started going to A and J Automotive several years ago.He is an amazing mechanic and he is honest.As a woman going to a mechanic, he is the best I have ever dealt with. He explains everything to you and lets you know all of the options available.I have recommended several friends there over the years and they have been thrilled as well.I will always go here first.I have never been surprised by a bill, other than it was a lot less than it would have been elsewhere. It has been a long time since I've had an oil change experience worth writing home about. I was beginning to think that I would have to change my own oil just to avoid being haggled and insulted as I had been at the last few places I tried. Not once was I lectured about coming in more often or told I don't take care of my car as usual (I'm not negligent - most lube shops use it to instill fear and have you pay more money.)
Paul seems like a manager-type person who was the man I spoke with the whole time I was there. If there was such thing as a 'carside' manner, he got it right on the money. He was extremely polite and even asked permission to put air in my tires like I was some kind of heiress. I am used to other places either not asking to add air or forgetting to even check them. A lot of places only do it 'by request' - but when they don't communicate with you, how are you supposed to request it? So this place was quite amazing. They showed me my transmission fluid colour to assure me it's in perfect condition. Basically, I would go back there strictly for the customer service, but their prices are reasonable too. I would say they are like any other place but you actually get what you pay for.
The owner's name is 'Al' but I never met him. Maybe he will be in on a weekday. I have a $10 off coupon for next time if I take the middle package so that's another incentive to return. I am glad I don't have to figure out how to change my own oil because it isn't easy when you lack the tools needed.
They have a coupon right now on he back of Safeway receipts for $8 off. I wish I had known, but it was still worth it.

I don't know about this lady's experience but my family and I travel very often with Indo Canadian but we never faced any problem and they never give a hard time to their clients. It must be this lady's fault maybe she didn't reserve her seat. just like any other Indian won't LOL!!! Showing up is not a solution, no one is having a dream that you want to travel you have to notify them and reserve it.

Excellent! Great service! That brad guy doesnt know what he is talking about. He was the one that did not register and insure his vehicle and decided to come visit Sylvan for a weekend of partying and who knows what. The tow company does not drive around at random looking for vehicles to tow. The RCMP or bylaw calls them to tow vehicles that are not legal. Again, it goes back to the owner of the vehicles.

I only like dealing with Tracy B from the back... shes the best and has helped me with so many of my ridiculous projects and unfulfilled project dreams its CRAZY! Shes never been wrong when she says what I need to make stuff happen and Ive caught her several times trying to go for lunch but she helps me anyway. I think PA needs to clone her for the other stores because I never get that kind of service anywhere else!

This shop is awesome. I had problems with my truck on New Year's Eve, and was recommended by a fellow trucker and I have to say the guys stayed and welcomed me into the shop like I was family, they figured out my faults and repaired them fast. These guys will help you with the littlest things like explaining what the fault was and what I could do to prevent it from happening again. I booked an Inspection with Alberta Chimney Sweep and the Inspector walked me through the whole process, I had alot of questions and he took the time to explain them in a way I would understand. There was some repairs needed,and he showed me what needed repair. Also he made me drawings so if I wanted I could get someone else to do the repairs or do them myself. This company was very professional in helped me through email and over the phone to make sure my repairs were done correctly, as I did the repairs myself. They didn't charge me a cent for helping me. Needless to say I am very happy with there service.

I am submitting this review because of my experience with DR Bakken and my experience with this lady. I have ice pick scarring, scars from an assault and I also have a burn on my face. I have spent over $14,000 on my face so far and I am not satisfied. It has caused me a lot of pain because I was not able to access medical care to treat my acne at the time. DR. Bakken was absolutely wonderful and I adore how real she is. Don't be so sensitive if her humour startles you, she's a gem.

Actually, we rented from them when we arrived in Red Deer, after they changed the unit to another landlord and that was when I had troubles!
