They came promptly at 8 PM at night and took our tree away and cleaned up all the mess from the storm we had .. love that they answer the phone after 5 PM, we phoned a few others and got answering machines .. great job ! Brett and his crew Cory and Jared and one other fellow (forgot his name) were very professional and were here 1/2 hour before their scheduled job time. They were very friendly and i liked the fact that Cory made sure i was satisfied and asked if there were any other branches that i wanted off the trees we were getting cut. Brett was very friendly and professional taking pictures in order to give us a more accurate quote. Cleaned up the job site and was done in a very short time. Overall you will be happy with hiring this company for any tree work. Very satisfied and will tell others.

This store opened recently as part of the revitalization of the area south of the Cambie Bridge. This is an interesting concept for the store that brought us the sprawling big box stores of the 'burbs that we have come to know and love. This store is on 1.5 levels on a smaller footprint and offers almost anything you can imagine for the do-it-yourself-er in an urban setting. In fact its the "almost" in the previous statement that costs this store a 5. It is true that they offer almost anything but if you want to do any larger projects involving copious amounts of lumber, landscaping stone, plants, soils and other landscaping materials you will still need to visit one of the big stores. All that aside, if you are looking for anything else this is a great store to hit, particularly given their location. My child and I particularly enjoy the monthly (every second Saturday) children's workshops where the kids get to build a fun, wood-based project. Afterward there are a myriad of options to pursue such as a walk at the sea-wall around False Creek or a hot chocolate at Starbucks. Check it out next time you're in the area and you will leave impressed!
