I discovered that vinyl blinds in my home were constructed in this store in 1997 (before my ownership of my home). In need of a replacement blind and an adjustment to an existing blind, I was pleased to find a solution for this renovation project at this store. Parm and Kaitlyn went beyond the call of duty to serve me creating and adjusting my blinds. My wife guided me to Haircats as an excellent place to get my hair cut after her long time stylist, Anna, rented out one of the chairs there. Wow was she ever right! Anna cuts my hair as is she has been cutting it for the last 20 years. I've never had a stylist who has been able to know what to do to that will work with my hair so well. If Anna is not available it seems like all of the other stylists at this shop are a friendly group and the way the shop bustles almost all the time there seems to be a good amount of repeat clientele...always a good sign. They also offer a good selection of products and use those products in the salon as well. What's more the walls are ever changing with a rotating exhibition of art from local artists. If you see something you really like you can even buy it! Located near the corner of Broadway and MacDonald Haircats is centrally located and easy to get to or pop into as you stroll the shops of Broadway in Kits. If you are looking for a wonderful place to get your hair cut and styled Haircats is a great place to go!

Located right at the main entrance to Granville Island sits the Granville Island Brewery. Due to their popularity I think it has been a long time since this location was their main production facility but that hasn't stopped them from turning this into a unique and fun tourist attraction on the Island. Offering tours daily, you can learn about how their beer is made and more about the history of this unique little piece of brewing history in Vancouver. Granville Island Brewery was one of the first microbreweries in Canada and obviously they did a great job because they started a revolution in the Canadian brewing industry and were even just acquired by Molson Coors earlier this year. After your tour you get to sit and enjoy a sampler tray of 3 different beers. Or, you can just skip the tour and belly up to the bar in the tasting room and try all of their great brews named after Vancouver neighbourhoods and landmarks. For a fun and interesting group outing hit the Granville Island Brewery and enjoy a taste of Vancouver History!

The two words that everyone wants to hear when referring to laser hair treatment…."IT WORKS". After reading countless reviews on several websites and hearing sceptical results, I decided to give laser hair removal a try, anything has to be better then a brazilian right??
I choose Elan Beauty because after shopping around with free consultations, Tammy was the only one who seemed down to earth, realistic, and honest. She didn't make any false claims or promises.
I rarely write reviews, but feel compelled to write about my entirely positive experience with Elan Beauty. After only four treatments of laser hair removal, I am hair free! All gone! Amazing !
Tammy and her team are very knowledgeable and educated me very truthfully on what to expect. They made me feel very relaxed and well taken care of before, during, and after the treatments. The salon is clean, has other great products to offer, and has an easy online booking system that I found very convenient. Other salons make false promises, charge twice as much, and are not nearly as friendly as Elan. Stop searching, choose this salon, and get an effective treatment that will leave you as happy as I am !
I have also had waxing and electrolysis done here and would highly recommend them these treatments as well.

Recently, I had my teeth cleaning done at the Bentall Dental Clinic in Richmond. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the lovely ladies at the front. They were very welcoming and full of positive energy. I'm usually nervous visiting the dentist especially a new place but it was a fun and relaxing experience. My dental hygienist was very personable and attentive and ensured I was comfortable at all times. She was very thorough with the cleaning and I knew I was in good hands. I then met with one of the dentists to conduct my first visit evaluation and both him and his assistant were professional and open to answer all my questions. Overall, I would highly recommend this dental office even though you don't live close by. I live in the Fairview area and drove down because I heard the service was excellent and it was true!! Thank you to the Bental Dental team for a wonderful experience!
