I have known Ed now for over 8 years and not only is he a wonderful guitar tech, Ed is just simply, a wonderful person.
Ed has worked on a number of guitars for me...and continues to do so.

After filling up with gas, my car would not start at the pumps at the Husky station adjacent to the Fort Horseless Carriage garage, around 6 in the evening. I was attempting to get on a ferry back to Victoria, but that plan had to be abandoned, along with my car at the garage. I had a power steering issue on my Mercedes, my car was really hard to steer. I took it to Hood Star Automotive, who dealt with it in a fast and friendly manner, I was back on the road in no time at all. They are great guys who really know their stuff. I would go back again and I would highly recommend them. Great to know someone in Chilliwack who is a fully trained Merc mechanic!

anytime i've been in, they always let me know up front what's needed or what i can get by with on the budget i set for repairs. they may seem a bit pricier than the ones in/near the area, but they're worth every $$ as an investment in your car's safety.

I was having an issue with my furnace and couldn't diagnose it. I called Meer Mechanical and they had someone out to my place within a day. The tech had to show up before and after his scheduled shift in order to fit me in. There was a slight discrepancy on the invoice re: the time the tech was at my house. I called John the owner and discussed the bill with him. He made it right and was concerned about my satisfaction as a customer. Rare to find that in contractors these days.
