On Brock Street in Whitby, just a couple of kilometres north of the historic Four Corners, is a large restaurant whose potential lay untapped until restaurateurs Chris and Russ bought it in 2009. They opened The Brock House, a “Muskoka cottage meets Whistler chalet,” and have been serving the people of Whitby good food ever since.
At The Brock House, the menu features such tasty items as shrimp and lobster pot pie, sweet potato gnocchi, pizza (gluten-free dough available) and lamb shank - all served in an inviting environment with exposed brick walls and that cozy chalet feel.

My husband and I visited the Brock House with some friends of ours. The decor is warm and very nice, but it was a little loud in the room we were sitting, I think next time we'll ask to eat in the open bar area. The menu was extensive, but not what we were expecting. They offer a great selection of appetizers, we had the lobster dip (delicious, but not enough chips for dipping so we had to ask for more) and bruschetta. Our server, Steph, was very friendly and professional (she recognized us from another restaurant we frequent), and the conversation was lively and fun. We will be back.
Its sad when the old place; Krebs, was better. The salad was cheap and garbage. My steak was raw and cold. Price was high. Service was decent, some were nice. Place is dirty. I will not be retuning, very disappointing.
Went to the new Place April 29th ordered the mussels. They were quite good. We were almost finished when I noticed that their was one that wasnt opened.I told the waiter that ,that how you get food poisioning .He took them away but no manager came also they werent even taken off our bill.Next we had ordered pizza Unbelievable I ordered the pizza that came with olives, shrimps, onions, mushrooms.Well when it arrived at the table it was slice in five pieces,on each piece was each of the toppings I had ordered,Yes one whole slice had all the olives on it,one had all shrimps on it and one had all the mushrooms and onions on it.I though..when you order a pizza that they spread the toppings out .But not this place I guess I am supposed to make the pizza at my table...ridiculous Wont be back nothing their that I could honestly say I would craze -1 out of 10
