One of the best pub experience ever. Excellent choice of food and service. We were a group of 6 we didn't have any reservation's. We all were served very nicely, drinks were filled constantly, manager was present and asked us how everything was and suggested us to stay for Karaoke as well. Food quality was excellent, we had wings for appetizer's. They were huge jumbo wing's and it was half price during the leafs game. Rest of all the food were excellent. I had the best turkey dinner at this establishment. The whole flavor, gravy and stuffing were just the best. Will tell all our friends's and highly recommend to every one. Lire plus

A group of 21 of us attended this venue on a Thursday morning for breakfast. Pro: They arranged the seating at the back of the restaurant to accommodate us at one long table. The music wasn't too loud and we had the whole area to ourselves. Pro: The waiter was friendly and VERY efficient!!! He took ALL of our orders without writing anything down and got all of our orders right. We were VERY impressed with his memory skills, accuracy and attention to detail. Pro: Everyone enjoyed their breakfast, and was especially pleased with the home fries - we like them crispy and seasoned. Tolerable: The food took approximately 15 mins to arrive, but we were chatting among ourselves to pass the time. It was a little more pricey than we would have liked, but the portion size exceeded our expectations. There didn't seem to be any cons except that there was a column behind the table minimizing some of the space, but everyone was pleased and didn't seem to have any complaints. Definitely the best bar / restaurant in the area. Great Patio in the back and very cozy atmosphere inside. This is a designated heritage building and there are old pictures of the area on the walls which is a nice touch. The food is great and it's a mix of Italian, Mexican, American. What I like most is the open kitchen. The food is prepped in the open! It's a refreshing change from almost all other restaurants that prep food behind closed doors (makes you wonder what's really crawling in the kitchen). The Bar has good selection on tap and there is a comfortable lounging area in the back by the fireplace as well. I didn't know what to expect walking into this restaurant since it has so many different reviews but I'm glad I didn't let the negative ones get to me. The staff was SUPER friendly. They were always checking up on us, not to the point where it was annoying but just the right amount. The wings were AMAZING. I mean first of all they are HUGE. I’ve been to Dog and Bear many times. It’s a traditional British style pub. It’s laid back and chill, not a place for an event but definitely a place to hang out with the friends and grab some pints. Football(soccer) lovers as owners the screens always have good matches on during the season. If you are there on a day where west Ham and Man U go head to head you will likely see the rivalry as friends and supporters pile in and sit in separate sections of the bar to cheer for their teams.
