Chelsea is a laid back restaurant with lots of charm and excellent food. We have been coming here for lunch for years and are always made welcome by the friendly host and are never disappointed. The grilled trout is particularly tasty as is the chicken mandarin salad favoured by my wife. During cold weather we love the home made carrot and ginger and potato leek soups followed by the tasty liver and onions or the hearty steak and kidney pie. The bumbleberry pie will round off your dining pleasure. The Chelsea gives excellent value for money. Try it and you will find yourself repeating the pleasant experience. Lire plus

This is a hidden gem over near the airport on Matheson. A friend of mine works in the area and he suggested it for a Saturday night dinner. We had a great time as the food was hot, fresh, and tasted great, plus the service was very professional. I like places where they have a pride of ownership and this is one where the owners are active in the business, the chef came from the kitchen to check on our meal, and they genuinely appreciated our business. The décor is light, airy, and inviting. Although there are TV screens on the wall, they are to display menu items, not to distract from dining with sports or news. The background music was middle-eastern, a bit loud at first, but then not intrusive at all. There is a specialty oven which uses a wood fire to bake the middle-eastern pizzas. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we even had a visit from the chef, who is also the owner. We had hummus for an appetizer, the falafel plate, mango juice, and cookies, all made on the premises. Everything was superb. The pita arrived fresh from the oven, looking like inflated volleyballs rather than flatbread. The falafel were generous, delicious, and hot. My only reservation was the amount of plastic used, but then items such as hummus were prepared for take-out and served to us immediately. And we did notice a good many people buy food for take-out. We are very glad this restaurant has opened, and will be sure to visit again. Lire plus

My family has been coming to Enzos for over 25 years. It is a great place for Italian food. The owners are very down to earth people, that go out of there way, to make sure everything is good. The staff is very friendly, and accomodating. We brought our kids there, from toddlers, They are now both grown up, and continue to eat at Enzos. I have tried almost everything on the menu. Never disappointed. The pasta sauces are excellent. Pizza's taste great. Lasagna, shrimp and scallop fettucine, chicken, veal dishes are all awesome. I've been to a lot of Italian Fine dining restaurants and this one in particular stood out to me. The food was very well cooked to my liking. The pasta itself was perfectly made and the sauces always compliment the dish! I had the Fusilli Rustica with Rose sauce. The service is phenomenal. Always friendly and they really know their dishes. The price is also VERY affordable compared to other restaurants. The ambiance suits the restaurant and it really is a beautiful place. It makes me feel like I'm in Italy ! Mango Rain is a cozy little restaurant run by a hard working young couple. It is a small restaurant located on 1714 Lakeshore Road West, Mississauga, ON (on a strip mall, south side of Lakeshore). My husband and I discovered Dai Ichi several years ago almost by accident on New Year's Eve when the Mandarin was overcrowded and behind on their reservations. I have always been grateful to Mandarin for their ineptitude. Dai Ichi is a small, out of the way place, tucked into a nondescript strip mall near a Longo's and Shopper's Drug Mart, but it is definitely one of the best sushi places in the area. Took my family here for mother's day and it was very busy! We walked in and wrote gave our names and got a table within 5 minutes. After trying the food I can tell why there were so many customers, the food is mouth-watering! Definitely the best Indian food in the GTA. Won't be going to bras or tandoori flame again. I could tell they were hustling to work as quickly as possible, which can be appreciated in such a busy time. Very clean place, elegant decor. Will be coming back again next week! Lire plus
