We had a breakdown on Hwy 11 which stranded our family of 6 in July, 2016. Powassan Auto Service took exceptional care of us-keeping us and our children safe roadside, providing a comfortable place to relax with a coffee and drinks, and most importantly, by delivering fast, honest and reliable emergency service to our truck. We blew a brake line in Algonquin Park and assumed our vacation was pretty much toast. Abby behind the desk was incredibly helpful and friendly. Andrew in the garage went right to work, fitted us with a new line and had us back on the road within an hour. He was absolutely terrific, a real professional. Their pricing was outstanding. A level of service and kindness that I have not seen down south. Very grateful they were there in hour of need. Thank you guys!

In the middle of this Co-vid 19 virus our car was totalled when we hit a moose late in the evening. Despite all protocols of social distancing and serious health concerns, Griffiths were out PRONTO to assist. They recommended a tow closer to them ( vs. returning to Toronto) to save costs. They were extremely helpful in allowing us to get back to the car to pick up our stuff & answering all our questions regarding insurance. Polite, professional. Perfect.

I drive a Toyota and after my warranty was up I no longer wanted to pay Toyota’s high maintenance cost. I needed new front and back brakes and I’m happy to have found these guys. The owners of this garage worked many years for toyota and are the best mechanics.Their service is superb and their cost is less than any dealership. I rarely write reviews but wanted to give a shout out for tHometown Garage.
