The oxtail is by far the best thing on this menu!! Especially combined with their amazingly tender and flaky fried dumpling !! Mmmmm. If you special request it the owner does bottle and sell her amazing jerk sauce to make heavenly chicken at home almost as delicious as the owner makes themselves!!! My wife and I used to dine here more often in the past but I went back recently and was reminded me why we like it so much. The owners, John and Molly are very friendly and make some of the best doubles and vegetarian rotti's that we've ever had. We mainly go there for the vegetarian cusine. Ali’s has been around for a long time! My family has been going to Ali’s since before I was born and the food has always been tasty with a homemade flare. The location isn’t very nice and doesn’t feel very safe but we still drive a great distance to eat an Ali’s roti. The aloo pie is great; they have good Palourie with tasty sauce. The chicken shrimp and goat roti are excellent. The peanut punch is sooth and creamy and they also have great doubles. I always enjoy everything I order from Ali’s . The last time I went the roti stuffing was a bit scarce compared to what it use to be, but it was still good. The street parking can be a bit tricky at certain times of the day with the street car tracks and limited spaces. I would recommend Ali’s to everyone and I am sure we will continue to go there for many years to come. Lire plus

i need to have my jerk fix at least once a week and this is the best spot in Mississauga - trust me i've tried everything. don't expect the best service or atmosphere - that's not because they are rude or not nice, just seems like a lot of people are going in and out. Also, a few times they've mixed up my order, so make sure they get it exactly right. I've also noticed a few times they over salted, but that's a few times in the many many times i've been there. I go there every week or more times with or without friends or clients. You can sit down or take out the food and the staff is great. They make good food that I enjoy very much. The lady can really cook good food. Lots of people go there even though there's a few other caribbean restaurants in the area. I enjoy many dishes from this place and I go all the time. I can't tell you how amazed at how delicious the food is here. Wow!!! It's a take out restaurant but it's just the best. So, so, so filling. And the price, I can't believe the prices. Anyways if you just want to chill and you're in the neighborhood of Bay and King Street West hit up Famous Recipe.
