I had a wonderful experience with Dave at Oak Bay Cobbler (and I'm sorry it has taken me so long to leave this review). I was turned away by another cobbler who told me my Doc Martens that I had stupidly put through the washer and dryer in an attempt to shrink the leather (Reddit told me to!) which left them deformed (obviously), were a lost cause. Dave, however, said if I wanted to come back and use his tools I could work on the shoes myself. I fixed them. He didn't charge me. Go to Dave :)

This business and the staff are top notch. I've gone in prematurely a couple times now to get an oil change, and they have sent me home, refusing to take my money until it was absolutely necessary. When I have been there for service, they're friendly, thorough and knowledgeable.. Thanks to manager Ron for today's service, and careful explanation about some additional care for my Bronco. Just in time for the holidays. We would give Harry more than 5 stars if possible. We are thrilled with how clean and fresh the carpets turned out both in our office, as well as our home. We also had the upholstery cleaned - it all looks as new! He was professional, punctual and did the work with personality plus.
