Dr. Shew is amazing along with all his staff. I am someone who suffers extreme anxiety with dental procedures and have had to have 3 done in the last year where I couldn’t afford to go to a specialist and be put under. He’s truly amazing at working with anxiety and making me the most comfortable I can be so I can get these things taken care of within financial reason. I make my living by working as a renovator.
I have arthritis, which is probably job-related, or due to aging. Recently I cannot work because of my swollen wrist. The bone above my right wrist was almost doubled in size. This caused me great pain, especially when I tried to turn my wrist.
Last month I went to see a doctor, and was prescribed Indomethacin (50 mg capsules, 3 times per day, for 3 weeks). The medication did provide me some relief, but it had side effects (mainly stomach upset and nausea). Besides, most of the swollenness was still there.
Last Monday I decided to seek acupuncture as an alternative treatment. I found the name Dr. Ivy Pang from Google Search.
I have received 4 acupuncture treatments up till now (each session lasting about 80 minutes). So very glad that there are obvious great improvements – in fact I can now turn my wrist freely. Hope to start working sometime next week.

We had our young child in for jaw x rays and she was very nervous and upset and the tech was being very patient, but out of nowhere Dr Melo appeared (we did not have an appointment with him) and was so lovely with our kiddo, engaging her in conversation and set up the machine with a fake skull to show her how it worked. He was able to assuage her fears and the tech was able to get some good images. I was really struck at how patient and thoughtful he was. Will definitely go back if needed.

Dr. Rea and his team were fantastic start to finish. I had an extensive upper and lower jaw surgery to fix a narrow palette/twisted cross bite.
