My VW Golf would not start, so I had CAA give me a boost but since we are only in Collingwood for 1 more day, I was left to try to figure out what the issue was. I was called Import Auto Center and they were able to squeeze me in. They checked the car out and gave it a clean bill of health, and did not overcharge by replacing the battery or alternator which I was happy with. I appreciated them being able to get me in quickly and provided me with peace of mind. Thanks very much for your help.

I highly recommend this shop and the wonderful owners, Carole and Bruce. Carole is warm, kind, and ascertained that we were well-cared for. She booked us on a Saturday morning at the last minute. Bruce fixed our transmission line in record time so we wouldn’t miss out on our holiday weekend. He advised us to wait until Monday morning to replace the ball joint and wheel bearing which saved us a few hundred dollars as most parts shops were closed on Saturday. They are friendly and professional.

Over the years I have used Almas for repairs and towing services. I have always been treated fairly and in a professional manner.
The service is excellent and the cost is very reasonable but the most important point is that Almas is a garage that is honest, and dependable.Something that you do not find very much these days.
