Such a good place to have breakfast/lunch! I went here for lunch during my lunch period in school and they were very considerate on our time limit, they rushed our order and it was amazing food and not at a bad price either! I brought in a tour group of 33 people and the manager Jodi and her staff were waiting for us when we arrived. They provided great service and the food was very good. The group all voted they would go back again! Thank you so much! Our travel date was on 9/24/11 and arrived around 6:15pm for dinner. It was also nice being a family restaurant you could order wine, beer etc. One of the ladies in our group was having a birthday and the staff provided a slice of choc. cake and sang Happy B-day!

I highly recommend Kipps Lane Fish n Chips! I was hard pressed to find a classic fish n chip joint such as I had adored as a teen in Toronto in the mid 1970s. A true, halibut fish, hand filleted with the classic, puffed up batter and golden fries is a rare treat to still find these days especially from a family owned and operated restaurant who are so friendly and who take pride in what they serve you. Its very clean and your order is up and ready within 15 mins with a smile. Its just so YUM!

I really liked this place because the food tasted different than the normal restaurant (kelsey's, jack astors etc.) The mushrooms were SO YUMMY! I got the grilled veggetable burger and it was good but I would get the veggie burger next time. My bf got it and I had a bite and it was super yummy! He got fries with his and those were really good too! I love crispy Big cut fries!

I recall eating at a Montana’s Grill a few months ago and enjoying an Aunt Emma’s meatloaf. This past Saturday my wife and I had a yearning to try it again, so we went to a relatively new Montana’s in Hyde Park and discovered that it was now listed on the menu as a “Cookhouse Meatloaf” and promoted as being one of the restaurant’s “favourites”. I can see why. Quite frankly, this was by far the best meatloaf I have ever tasted in my life, and at 73 that’s saying quite a lot. Sure you can eat meatloaf at a number of places but I bet you can’t beat having a more delicious one at Montana’s in Hyde Park.

I absolutely adore this place! I was recommended the Knotty Pine when I was told about their very inexpensive breakfast special. I didn't know what to expect for $5 but I was very impressed.
The atmosphere is very quiet (partially due to the carpeted floor) and cozy. I love it! The background music is gentle and not blaring.
The waitresses have been very polite, friendly and efficient!
The breakfasts are probably typical breakfast fare, but it's been quick, hot, and they've had my order bang on every time!
My friend and I finally got around to having a dinner instead of breakfast last week, and we were not disappointed! Perhaps small portions on the vegetables, but not on the meet or potato!
The hot turkey sandwich was piled high! :)
And might I add... the coffee is excellent.
Any time I'm at White Oaks I'm tempted to pop in, and I'm sure I'll be making many more trips in the future!
Oh... and they JUST updated their menu with a few new things on it!

I Love this place!
I seriously cannot get enough of their fries and gravy.
Yeah they are known for their panzerotti's. Not to sure why, they are not really that great.
Usually when I go I get the Club House with Fries and gravy, it has real big chunks of chicken on it and comes with a side of corn and coleslaw which it to die for!
My hubby gets a meat lovers pizza, it is a little pricey but I have never seen a pizza with SO many toppings with all real cooked meat! there is hardly any cheese on that thing. He just LOVES it!.
I think its a great place and definetly recommend it!

They have perfected the art of perfectly battered fish and fresh hand cut fries.
You can't go wrong. Place is pretty basic, but you're not really there for atmosphere. You are there for the delicious fish and chips, and that's exactly what you get.

Great Food!! Friendly service! Decided to come back with some friends and tried the combo#2 plate last night. Place was pretty busy. A little bit of a wait but not more than other places considering the size of the place. I'm now a fan of Pupusas. My friends had some combo #1 and some plantains. The Food did not disappoint.
