Came on the basis of great reviews so expectations very high. My gf had a huge fish plate that she thoroughly enjoyed. I had a burger that was exceptionally satisfying. We shared a salad that was sublime. Every patron in the lunch seemed to be sharing our experience which included enjoying the waitresses body and looks. Decor far from eloquent or even upscale but all else including waitress makes up for the modest setting. Lire plus

I love this place. It takes me away to another place in the middle of winter as the latin music plays and the food is served. The empanadas are beautiful and they make a very special and simple salad with avocado and broccoli that you must try. You seriously can’t go wrong paying a visit to Bicycles Plus. The staff are all polite and beyond friendly, and they treat everyone the same. I’ve only ever dealt with the parts/service side, never bought a bike from them, but both “camps” know their stuff very, very well. The one mechanic, I think his name is Nigel, he can diagnose a bike from 40’ away blindfolded. Great prices too, bought brake pads recently, they were half the price per set (front/back) compared to Canadian Tire. Lire plus

We've been to the Granite Brewery a number of times as the food is always fantastic with generous portions. In addition to the delicious food, they have a good selection of their own brews. We especially enjoyed their Ringwood, a delightful blonde. There are different atmospheres for different tastes, but at the Granite Brewery they have several to choose from. Two excellent patios, a bar, and a family restaurant area, all designed for comfort. The rear patio looks particularly amazing, but as it was raining, we'll just have to wait until next time to try it out. It should also be noted that the Granite Brewery has free parking with easy access. The Granite Brewery gets our highest recommendation and we will be back soon. Lire plus

(Harlem on Queen) After a weekend of dining at pretentious good-for-nothing restaurants (re: Spice Route) we decided to settle for Harlem, my bf's idea as the location of this place is easy to miss with so many other eateries surrounding it. We had the brunch/lunch menu. The waitresses were very attentive. Served right away. Food was quite tasty, although the only negative part about it was that it came out a lukewarm. The catfish lafyette was delicious! Yam and yukon hash was good, but would've been better if served hot, as potatoes tend to get rubbery when it gets cold. The ribs were not bad either. There was a lot of food on the menu that I wanted to try today, so I'll definitely go back , maybe during dinner the next time. Lire plus
