Sam is a very skilled hair stylist. For those who have fine hair and need to find a hair stylist that can provide a haircut that works with fine or thin hair, Sam has done a phenomenal job with mine. I had gone to several different hair stylist with poor results, until Sam cut it. The cut he provided immediately proved successful and I was able to easily style my hair and it looked really good. I have not been disappointed.

Sean just fixed my guitar for me, he provided very professional and friendly service. Most impressively, he knew quite a bit about guitars and solved what seemed to be a difficult on-going issue, within a short amount of time. My cousin from Holland (owner of a travel agency) wanted a special menu with a capable Chef and a special place to celebrate his 50th Birthday on holiday in Canada. He found it in Slackoni's. The setting on the water was intimate and relaxed with music supplied by a classical guitarist. This was a multi-course meal and each was delivered with great presentation style and flavour. The group was delighted with anti-pasto dishes of vitello tomatol, smoked salmon, mini portabello mushrooms stuffed with shrimp and a mouth watering caprese salad. Moving inside to a cozy adjoining party room we were treated to a tasty seafood fettuccini pescatore. The main event was elk tenderloin in a maple bbq glaze. And for those who like desert, the ultimate..the zucotto "italian bomb cake" Amazing!
As per the menu, the wine was also chosen to compliment each course. It was a great event and everyone was thrilled. Our european guests, so used to eating in Paris were very impressed! Hats off to Slackoni's staff in delivering the service in keeping with the excellent food. Congratulations to all!

Exceptional service, over the phone, and without any thought of charge! 2 days before Christmas and a warrantied stove became dysfunctional. Tried central service dispatch, but called Stittsville Home Appliances directly from YP, as they are an authorized rep. Mike solved my problem solved within 2 min. over the phone without hesitation. Big Thank You to Mike for his friendly expert advice and consideration. Highly recommend this local small business to the Ottawa and valley area.
