I give it five stars based upon what it is - a clean, safe, and most importantly, cheap place to stay downtown Vancouver. It is exactly what it purports to be. The rooms were almost funny they were so small but it had what you needed and nothing was scuzzy. Share it with a friend and it is the same price as a hostel. Everyone was friendly.

My wife and I visited this store when my wife was in need of a new pair of glasses. We were instantly impressed with the great customer service they offered. They were patient and helpful with suggestions as my wife tried on a wide variety of frames that suited her. Then, after narrowing down her choices to a top three, they waited patiently while my daughter and I joined my wife to help her make the final verdict. They even had a bowl of candies for our daughter to choose from. They took my wife's prescription and whipped up the glasses in no time flat. Upon learning that my wife also wears contact lenses they insisted that my wife try the solution that they carry because they feel its the best. They gave her a bottle to try free...and not a little sample bottle...a full-sized bottle! My wife was so impressed with her overall experience that she took all of her optical business here and got them to handle her contact lens needs as well. Recently, I had my teeth cleaning done at the Bentall Dental Clinic in Richmond. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the lovely ladies at the front. They were very welcoming and full of positive energy. I'm usually nervous visiting the dentist especially a new place but it was a fun and relaxing experience. My dental hygienist was very personable and attentive and ensured I was comfortable at all times. She was very thorough with the cleaning and I knew I was in good hands. I then met with one of the dentists to conduct my first visit evaluation and both him and his assistant were professional and open to answer all my questions. Overall, I would highly recommend this dental office even though you don't live close by. I live in the Fairview area and drove down because I heard the service was excellent and it was true!! Thank you to the Bental Dental team for a wonderful experience!

Dave (and his wife) at Bullet Mobile Auto Glass are the ones to go and see for your automobile window repair! I was very satisfied with the service I received. I had a chip in my car windshield, and Dave fixed it for me the next day, and I was in and out in under 30minutes. I would definitely recommend the crew at Bullet!

Very personable, warm clinic that offers professional and thorough care. Dr. Badyal uses a wonderful machine that is able to ease the most difficult to get at knot in your muscles, it's heavenly to leave his office feeling looser and have more motility. Be prepared to want to take a nap. He will always try to accommodate to fit you in when you throw your back out too!

Dropped my Samsung S4 and completely cracked my screen. This was the second time I had to repair it, and I wasn't exactly looking forward to it. However, the difference this time was that I went to Bc Gadgets. They helped me right away instead of making me wait around forever, and my phone looked good as new. I hope I don't have to return to them again, but at least if I do, I know I can rely on this place for good service.

We smelled gas when our Raypak gas boiler cycled on. Fortis found 500 ppm carbon monoxide reading and unburned gas so turned off boiler. Repair company believed that it was a problem with the manifold but our plumber felt it might be the gas jets needing cleaning. We called Boilers and Beyond for a second opinion before authorizing purchase of a new boiler. Rahim answered immediately, came on w/e, identified three separate problems & fixed them all. Genius! Awesome response. Hire him!

I just picked up my first ever carbon frame road bike from BSP in North Vancouver. Not only am I wonderfully impressed with the bike (a Trek Domane) but I am ridiculously impressed by the quality of the customer care I received from the moment I walked in the door.
The techie that took care of me the most (Simon) was warm, encouraging, supportive, very knowledgable - and relentlessly asked questions to make sure we found the right bike for me. From the earliest visits - right through to test riding the shortlisted models, I could not have asked for better client care.
On buying a computer and some other bits and bobs, James (store manager) was again, utterly obsessive about making sure I got the kit that was best suited for the type of riding I was planning to do. With the help I received from the other fellows in the store, I can give five big, yellow, shiny stars to BSP in North Van. If I could, I'd give them six - and I would say I am typically a very fussy customer.
