We've been to the Granite Brewery a number of times as the food is always fantastic with generous portions. In addition to the delicious food, they have a good selection of their own brews. We especially enjoyed their Ringwood, a delightful blonde. There are different atmospheres for different tastes, but at the Granite Brewery they have several to choose from. Two excellent patios, a bar, and a family restaurant area, all designed for comfort. The rear patio looks particularly amazing, but as it was raining, we'll just have to wait until next time to try it out. It should also be noted that the Granite Brewery has free parking with easy access. The Granite Brewery gets our highest recommendation and we will be back soon. Lire plus

Ordered the Blackened Tilapia with Lobster Mash and veg. The Tilapia came out pretty well raw. The waitress was flagged down and the dish returned. The manager showed up forthwith and apologized and had the order removed from the bill. The plate returned with a newly fired filet shortly. It was well flavoured and to be honest I would have gone through the raw fish to get to the Mash , it was outstanding, the veg, carrots and green beans were fresh not frozen. It was a flavourful dish and well executed for psuedo-blackening of a bland fish. I would like to see someone do the traditional Paul Prudholme Blackening instead of the grill and bake "bronzing " that is passed off as Blackening. The mistake was handled well and left me with a favourable impression overall, I would return when in the area. Lire plus

Lion on the Beach is great place to relax, drink and eat. The food to date has always been delicious and scores high points in presentation and originality. While it is the disguise as regular pub fare, it would appear to be more tantilizing than one would have expected. The atmosphere is soothing and fun much like the rest of the beaches. The services can be a bit irradict due to overflow of customers but has always been exceptional. The one draw back on the services comes from one particular bartender who has forced me to go on painkillers due to making me smile so hard that my face hurts. Cheers Lire plus

Tried this place out because of the mostly great reviews, and I agree. Best chicken club I've ever been served, home fries were REAL - DONE ON A GRILL, and were delicious, a pleasure to wait for. The bacon this restaurant uses is amazing, not salty or greasy, fantastic. The chef was surprisingly young (20's), but sure knows his way around a grill, and old-style/old school cooking. I couldn't finish my club (very rare for me). The place is not fancy and the chairs are hard/uncomfortable, but maybe they don't want people sitting around too long? Will definitely be going back here as a go-to spot -- you can dine here with confidence! Lire plus

Amazing atmosphere, super friendly people. We moved into the East York area about 2 years ago and we always go there for a fun time. The food is always fresh nothing frozen, the beer is always cold and most important Tom (The bartender) is always super nice pouring liquors. We love Swiss Chalet, especially this location and have been going for years, it's the closest to homemade, it's fast service and the prices are great! I came on good friday april 19,2019. I had the new orleans salmon with baked potato with butter and sour cream and rice. Was absolutely amazing taste and cooked perfect. It came with diced tomatoes and cilatro with some shrimp in like a cajun butter sauce. With those delicious biscuits they famous for and i even had a side ceasar salad. If i wasnt actually impressed i wouldn’t come back. I havent been to red lobster for about 10 years but today i was stunned how good it was. Lire plus

Noodle Delight is a great place for a quick, tasty and inexpensive lunch. You place your order and a chef starts cooking right away. Nothing fancy but very tasty. Over the years I've tried most of the dishes and they have all become favourites although the tomato, egg plant and broccoli on rice is my most favourite. It just beats out the noodle delight, which is bean sprouts and beef in a sauce served on top of crsipy noodles. The decor is cafeteria style but, what the hell, this is lunch, no time to gawk at the scenery, the boss is waiting. Lire plus
